Joy Kroeger Beckner

Dream Chasers: Best of Breed 1999.

Joy is from Chesterfield, Missouri. She took a figurative sculpture class at the Laumeier Sculpture Park in St. Louis, and from there she learned her skills to produce this bronze sculpture. It won second place in the 1999 Art Competition put on by The Artist's Magazine in the animals category.

Giraffe at the Dallas Zoo

Bob, an artist out of St. Louis, created this monsterous giraffe for the Dallas Zoo out of Bronze and Plexiglass. At 67 1/2 feet tall, it is the largest statue in the state of Texas and can be seen as you enter the zoo.
