The Dragon Has Flown

After a year of skips and starts, I have finally decided to completely close Dragon Tails. It's not a happy decision, nor a light handed one. There are several causes which I will not detail here, but the final result was there just wasn't time enough to keep Dragon Tails a totally free, non-advertising site. Not without sacrificing quality. Volunteers were rare, although those who did do so were great-hearted. In the end, I think it's better to remember a good site for what it was, than to watch it slowly deteriorate. This is my final requiem for Dragon Tails.
"A dragon is a creature that possesses
both a Tail of great length, and a
Tale to be told at great length."

This Dragon's Tale is over. May you seek another of your own.

Dedication: Many thanks to those who have contributed over the years. This site was for you. - 6/1/2000 Ryan Kolter, Maintainer

NOTICE: www.dragontails.com has been sold to the Children's Television Workshop (now the Sesame Workshop) in mid-2001. They now own both the domain name dragontails.com and the copyright on that domain name. I fully support the people and programming of Sesame Workshop, with the possible exception of the Muppet(tm) character Elmo, who I think is weird.
