My name is David Jerome Gaither, aka Jerry Gaither, Beau Burnside III, and MANFUN, I have been ill officially since August 10, 1992, with COPD, CFH, HT, all of which are progressive diseases. My HIV Status has been NEGITIVE for as long as there have been tests.

I first eclectically meet Steve and fell in love with him and his songs when he was know as "Songwriter" on a local BBS, before he was on the Internet.

Everyone of his songs related to part of my life and what had happened or was happening to me.

I was doing pretty good till the first part of March when my immunity system threw in the towel. The next thing I knew I was in the hospital with pseudomomnas pneumonia. It took 2 hospital stays and one at home with IV's, Motorized Nebulizer treatments, injections and a parakeet in a pear tree.(You know how Medi-cal cuts everything).
