This pink ribbon represents the women in my life that have been diagnosed and received the recommended treatment for breast cancer.  My mother and my aunt Maxine are both breast cancer survivors, however, my grandmother Neva Lee Salyers Conley passed away in 1945 at the age of 44 and my aunt Vena passed away 19 Oct 2002, as a result of this dreaded disease.

My husband Roger and I, shown in the picture above,  are California retirees that now make our home in Oregon.  We have been married for 41 years and are the proud parents to one very lovely daughter.  We have also been blessed with 4 beautiful grandchildren.

My hobby/obsession since my retirement(s)....LOL.... has been my genealogy.  My ancestors are from the beautiful States of
Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina.  Some of my family surnames include May, Massie, Hylton, Pennington, Webb, Sturgill, Conley, Salyers, Blanton and Artrip.  I have had the good fortune of meeting several distant cousins while persuing my family research and the experience has been very fulfilling.  If you find we share a mutual relative while viewing my site, please send me an email.  I'd love to meet you and share the information I have with you.
I'm very proud of these diplomas.  Thank you Webtech U.........
