A TARDIS Storage Shed
Time and Relative Dimensions in Storage

I built the TARDIS because I've always wanted one. Doctor Who has been one of my favorite science fiction shows since high school when it was shown on our local PBS station, KLRN. They no longer show it because they say it's too expensive. It's worth it people!

I started out by looking at a lot of pictures and drawings of the TARDIS.  I calculated the relative dimensions(huh) of the box and came up with a plan.  My complete illustrated instructions for building your own TARDIS are available for $20.00US.

I use it to store my lawnmower and other lawn
maintenance equipment.  Now if I can only make it dimensionally transcendental!  It has a solar powered 12 volt system that flashes the light and makes the landing sound every hour.  Pretty cool, huh?

I've just completed a simple video to tell you a little more about it. Download it and view it with Realplayer. (2.5Megs)

The total cost for the project was $250.00. Wood isn't cheap. You could get a regular aluminum storage shed for the same price but it wouldn't be as much fun.
