The West Coast Alumni will host the 1st in a series of Alumni screenings on Tuesday, April 22, 2003. John Hues has generously allowed us to use his screening room at Rhythm and Hues thanks to Alum, Konstantinos Kovas, who is the commercial coordinator at this Animation/Visual Effects studio. We will be seeing the work of three alums, Cyndi Marinangel, Aaron Vanek, and Konstantinos Kovas. Come out to view and support the blood, sweat, and tears of your fellow alumni!

WHERE: Rhythm and Hues Studio, 5404 Jandy Pl., Los Angeles, CA 90066
DIRECTIONS/PARKING: Take Jefferson to West Lawn, go North. Make a left on Beatrice, right on Jandy. Go to the end of the cul de sac and make a right into the larger parking lot. Go in the front door and follow the signs to the screening room.

Konstantinos Kovas' In the Bag:
If we are given the chance to foresee the future, should we take it upon ourselves to manipulate the outcome of certain events? And if the chance arises, should we be allowed to play God? Some people would consider foreseeing the future as a gift, while others may see it as a curse. In The Bag is a story about an unassuming young man from a small town who comes to the big city in search of work. Unfortunately, he is handed the job of playing the modern day savior.

Nine people and a dog get married. Polyamorous was screened at the "Out of the Box" festival in Park City during Sundance.
Aaron Vanek's The Yellow Sign
In The Yellow Sign, Shawna Waldron ("Little Giants", "The American President")
plays Tess Reardon, owner of a failing art gallery. She finds a painter she's
been dreaming about who could save her business…IF she agrees to help him
complete his greatest work.
Based on a weird fiction story by R.W. Chambers (1865-1933).
