Luis tells Sheridan he has a surprise for her. He turns the lights off and asks her to come sit next to him on the couch and get comfortable. Sheridan stands there and looks at Luis for awhile, but eventually joins him on the couch. She asks him "Now what?" Luis turns on a slide projector, and she says "this is my surprise?" Luis asks what she thought it would be? Sheridan says she had no idea. Luis says since she couldn't leave, he figured he'd bring a little of Spain to her. Sheridan tells him that was very sweet. Luis pours them some wine, and they watch the slides together. Luis asks Sheridan to give him all the details about what is going on in these slides. Sheridan tells him what is going on in the slides, and how Toledo is her favorite place in Spain, possibly all of Europe. Sheridan says she's love to take him there some day, and the locals say you have to share it with someone you love. Sheridan says she means whoever you take there should be someone you love.
At the wharf, Les continues to follow Kay. Hank shows up and ends up hearing Kay scream. Hank runs and finds that Kay is on the ground. He helps her up and she says some idiot side swiped her. He asks which way the guy went, and she tells him that she thinks he went that way, pointing in the direction he ran off. Kay then notices that her brand new blouse is torn. Hank tells Kay to go straight home, which worries Kay. She asks him if anything is wrong? Hank says no, and sends her on her way. After she leaves, Les shows up and tells Hank that was a warning, next time it won't just be his niece's blouse that he cuts! Hank grabs Les by his shirt and threatens to rip his head off if he touches another member of his family. Les tells him if he does that, then both of his nieces will be iced! Hank lets Les go, and Les tells Hank that if he doesn't get Sheridan's death, he will start picking off his family one by one.
At the mansion, Sam demands Ivy tell him if Ethan is his son or not. Ivy lies to him and says she was in a state of confusion and was just babbling, but Sam doesn't believe her. Ivy assures Sam that Ethan is not his son. Sam tells Ivy that on the prom boat she wanted to tell him something, so what was it? Ivy says she wanted to tell him that she still loved him, and she didn't want to come between him and Grace, she only wanted him to be a little part of his life. Sam tells her that will never happen! Sam also says he knows Ethan is his son because he checked his birthday on the computer, Ethan was born 9 months after her wedding night, the night they slept together. Ivy says there is a simple explanation, Ethan was born prematurely. She says that Ethan was conceived weeks after they made love. Sam asks her if that is the truth? Ivy says of course it is, if he was his son then she would have used that fact months ago to get him. Sam tells Ivy that there is nothing more to say, other that to warn her to stay out of his life! Sam leaves, and tells himself that Ethan isn't his son. Back inside, Ivy says she is sorry, but Sam can never learn the truth because Ethan would loose everything she ever wanted for him.
At the Lopez-Fitzgerald house, Ethan tells Theresa that he's come here to talk about his feelings for her. Ethan tells Theresa that he's always had feelings for her since she came to work for his mother, and she has made such a difference in her life. Theresa thinks Ethan is choosing her over Gwen, but Ethan tells her that she doesn't understand. Theresa says she does understand, he loves her and they will be together. Ethan tells Theresa that he thinks she is a wonderful person and he has strong feelings toward her, but as a friend. He tells her that Gwen is the woman he's going to marry. Ethan tells her that she will make some lucky man a wonderful wife one day, but she says he is the one she loves. Ethan tells her no, she doesn't love him. He tells her what they have is a close friendship, and if she thinks about it, she will realize that. Ethan tells her that she is still trying to get over Chuck, that is why she thinks she loves him. Pilar listens in as they talk. Ethan tells Theresa that she doesn't love him, she hasn't known him that long. He also says she told him that she's loved Chuck deeply for years, whereas he believes her love for him is only a few weeks old. He believes she is on the rebound, that is why she has these feelings for him. Theresa tells Ethan that he doesn't understand, there is no rebound. As Theresa prepares to tell Ethan the truth, Pilar, to herself, begs her not to do it. Right as she is about to spill the beans, Gwen calls. Ethan leaves to talk to Gwen, and Pilar confronts Theresa about what she heard. Theresa tells her mom that she's going to tell Ethan the truth about Chuck, and that he is the only man she's ever loved and ever will. Pilar tells her that she can't do that because then he'll know Gwen was right about her all along. Theresa doesn't think that matters because once Ethan realizes how deeply she loves him, he will understand and return her love. Pilar begs her not to do this, but Theresa says it is the only way. Ethan returns, and offers to leave because Pilar is here. However, Theresa says no, her mom will excuse them while they continue to talk. Pilar leaves, and Theresa once again begins to try and tell Ethan the truth. However, Ethan opens his mouth first and tells her how she is one of the most honest people he's ever met, and he knows she'd never deceive him or keep something important from him. He even tells her that he convinced Gwen she was not after him all those months like she believed she was. Ethan tells Theresa that he has to go, and asks if she will be all right? She nods yes, so he says he'll talk to her later. Ethan leaves, and Pilar tells Theresa that this is what happens when people keep secrets. Theresa finally realizes that she's lost Ethan. Pilar sits Theresa down and starts sponging her off to calm her down as she cries about how she's lost Ethan. Theresa is still sure that Ethan loves her, but Pilar says even if that was true, Ivy wouldn't allow her son to marry the housekeeper's daughter. Theresa comments that if Ethan wasn't a Crane he wouldn't be under this pressure to marry Gwen. Theresa says if Ethan was someone else, anyone else, he'd be free to marry her. Pilar says that Ethan still loves Gwen, but Theresa is positive that he loves her even more. Theresa says their love comes from the heart, it is not based on business deals and social positions. Pilar asks Theresa to let this go and move on with her life because she will find another boy. Theresa wishes to herself that if there was a way she could make Ethan not be a Crane, then he would marry her. Later, Ivy calls Pilar to make sure that the attache case has been hidden in a safe spot. Pilar says that she has hidden it well and no one will ever find it. Meanwhile, Theresa decides to get out of Harmony and goes to the closet to gather some things. Ivy's attache case falls out, and the contents spill onto the floor. Theresa looks at one of the papers and wonders what it is.
Sam goes for a walk on the pier and runs into Ethan, who is reading a newspaper. Ethan tells Sam that he is going to call a special review of him and the department because of their mismanagement of cases. Sam asks him what in the hell he is talking about? Ethan says, for starters, the way the case with his aunt Sheridan has been handled. Ethan says he has requested more protection for his aunt. Sam says that Luis is the best cop he has, and he was good enough for the FBI to hire and assign. Ethan says that he's not arguing Luis is not a good cop. However, he believes Luis has a personal interest in his aunt which is inappropriate for this case. Sam says that Luis has no personal interest in SHeridan and his officers know not to cross the boundaries of professionalism. Sam reminds Ethan that the FBI is in control now, but Ethan thinks Sam could have assigned more officers. Sam says he could have just hired more guards from Crane security because the Harmony PD doesn't have the manpower to spare. Ethan says that is bull and the reason he is ignoring Sheridan's case is because she is a Crane and he holds something against their family. Ethan assures Sam that heads will roll, including his. Sam tells Ethan that there is nothing wrong with his department or how he runs it! Ethan tells Sam that he is wrong, and he will prove it.
At the Bennett's, Grace chokes Tabitha as Timmy screams at Grace to stop it because she's killing her! Timmy begs Grace to stop, so she does, but only to smack Timmy across the room! Grace lifts Tabitha off the ground and tells her that she has failed them, and for that she must be destroyed. Timmy realizes he has to do something, but he doesn't know what. Grace growls at Timmy, and then tells Tabitha to breath her last breath! Timmy then realizes what he has to do. As Grace bends over a crippling Tabitha, Timmy snatches the pendant from around Grace's neck. The glowing red light goes out, and Grace falls to the floor. Timmy runs to Tabitha and screams "she's dead!" Fortunately Tabitha begins to cough, and she comes to. Timmy tells her what happened, and Tabitha is confused about what took over Grace. However, she thinks it has something to do with her friends in the basement, and whatever it was is out to get her. Grace comes to and asks what happened? Tabitha says she must have fainted. She tells her that she looks very pale, she needs to get something in her system. Grace realizes her pendant is gone. When she goes to look for it, Tabitha stops her and says "no!" Grace asks why she doesn't want her to look for the pendant? Tabitha tells her that she needs to relax, so she brings her some tea. Kay comes home and tells her mom about the idiot who ripped her blouse. She notices her mom doesn't look well. Grace says she fainted, which worries Kay. Grace says she just hasn't eaten enough, and she asks her not to tell her dad. Tabitha decides to leave, and Kay notices Charity's pendant, which she picks up. Kay puts the pendant on, and Tabitha leaves. Tabitha damns Kay for finding the pendant before she could. She tells Timmy that the pendant is more dangerous than she originally thought, and if it fell into the wrong hands she could be destroyed! Timmy suggests they leave Harmony and never come back, but Tabitha can't forget her mission. Timmy says he is scared. Tabitha says he's not the only one. Tabitha tells him that something terrible has been unleashed in Harmony, and for the first time in hundreds of years she is very afraid!
Timmy and Tabitha go to the beach to relax and recuperate for the day. Timmy enjoys looking at all the women in there bikinis. Tabitha tells Timmy that evil is out of control in Harmony, which is why they had to come here. She says they are fortunate they won't run into the teen troop today! Tabitha tries to convince Tabby to put on some sunscreen, but she refuses. She also refuses to return to Harmony until she has figured a new way to deal with Charity, otherwise her friends in the basement will try to destroy her again. Later, the kids show up, which puts Tabitha into a foul mood. Timmy, who is spying on them, says that Kay is wearing the pendant! Tabitha says this is not good at all. Kay takes off her shirt to reveal her new red bikini, and the pendant falls off and into the sand. It begins to glow, and Timmy tells Tabitha that the pendant is up to something! Tabitha tells Timmy that they have to keep an eye on that pendant because it has an mind of its own. Reese shows up and tells Kay that she shouldn't run around like that, the sun can be very harmful. Kay asks Miguel to hand her the sun block. Reese takes the sun block and puts it on Kay's back, and she is horrified to learn Reese, not Miguel, is rubbing lotion into her back. Later, Reese brings up the fish guts incident, and says he doesn't think it is a coincidence that they fell on Charity. Charity rather not talk about it, but Miguel says he thinks he knows why they fell on Charity. He thinks that someone probably forgot to empty the bucket, and that it is an old boat. Simone says that Charity did predict a disaster on the boat, so maybe she has a gift. However, Reese says he has done research on ESP and if Charity's premonitions seem to be on target it is most likely a coincidence. Reese and Miguel leave to get some more wood for the fire, when Charity says she is cold, and Charity notices the pendant glowing in the sand. She picks it up and puts it on, much to Tabitha's dismay. The pendant starts glowing, and suddenly, the bonfire starts to blaze on its own! In the fire, Charity has a vision of her mother Faith. Faith tells Charity that she doesn't want her to be good, she wants her to be evil! Timmy asks Tabitha how this can be? Tabitha says it is the pendant, it has unleashed an enormous evil that she cannot control.
Whitney goes to Chad's place and tries to convince the supervisor to let her in because she is worried about him. He asks her if she is his girlfriend, claiming he has a soft spot for lovers, so he could make an exception for her if she was his gal. However, he says if she isn't his girlfriend, he could always let her in for some cash. Whitney can't believe she's doing this, and pays the guy to let her in. Whitney walks in, and Chad wakes up. He quickly puts a shirt on to cover his wound. Chad wonders how she got in here, did she claim she was his girlfriend, or pay him fifty bucks? Whitney claims she lied to get in because she was concerned about him. Chad says, so you told him that you were my girlfriend? Whitney says only because she was concerned about him. Whitney tells Chad that he left the hospital way to early, and he almost drowned out there. She says he knows he is way too macho to admit he is hurt to her, but she sees now that he is in perfect health, and that he's only catching up on his sleep. Whitney tells Chad to forget that she came by, and storms out. Chad tries to go after her, but he can't run. He wonders why he didn't tell her the truth, but they realizes it is because she would have made him go to a doctor that he couldn't afford.
At the Lopez-Fitzgeralds, Pilar assures Ivy, who she's talking to on the phone, that no one will find her attache case. Meanwhile, Theresa opens the closet to get a suitcase and uncovers Ivy's attache case. She looks at the papers that fall out of it, and sees the name Ethan Crane. She wonders what these papers are about. Pilar catches Theresa with the papers and grabs them from her. Theresa asks what these are? Pilar says they are personal papers she is keeping for Mrs. Crane. She orders Theresa to forget about the papers and that she ever saw them. Pilar asks what she was looking for in the closet anyways? Theresa says she wanted her overnight bag because she is leaving home. Theresa says she can't stay in town and watch Ethan marry Gwen. She continues to cry that if Ethan weren't a Crane, he wouldn't have to marry Gwen. Pilar says that Ethan loves Gwen, but Theresa says Ethan loves her more. Theresa knows Ethan is only marrying Gwen because of his family obligations. Pilar says that may be true, but there is nothing they can do about it. Pilar tells Theresa that running away is the wrong thing to do, and that in time she will forget Ethan. Pilar tells Theresa that she loves her, and Theresa says she loves her mom too. However, she wonders why Ethan can't love her. Later, Theresa wonders how she will get through the rest of her life without Ethan. Whitney shows up and finds Ethan on the floor crying. Whitney asks her what is wrong? Theresa cries that she has lost Ethan, and if only Ethan weren't a Crane. Theresa says she knows Ethan is only marrying Gwen because of family pressure, and that if Ethan weren't a Crane he wouldn't be afraid to admit he loves her. Whitney tells Theresa that Ethan is a Crane, and she has to accept that it is over. Whitney tells Theresa that Ethan is marrying Gwen, case closed. Theresa says there is only one thing left for her to do. Whitney hopes Theresa is not thinking of doing anything stupid. Theresa says she is never going to see Ethan again because she is going to become a nun.
On the pier, Sam and Ethan's argument continues. Ethan asks Sam why he's looking at him in such a strange way. Sam says he's just trying to figure out who he really is. Sam tells Ethan that sometimes he acts like a pretty decent guy who occasionally looses it, but other times he acts like a Crane who thinks he can hire and fire who he wishes. Sam tells Ethan that his money doesn't entitle him to walk over everyone. Ethan starts whining about the storm once again, and how the prom boat all his departments fault. Sam tells Ethan if he wants to sue him and his department then he should go ahead because he doesn't have a damn thing to hide. Ethan tells Sam that they'll just see about that. Sam tells Ethan that he is very disappointed in him, he thought he was just a little different than his family. Ethan says he is a Crane and he is proud of his family, and he will do anything to protect them. He tells Sam that the police review board will want a statement from him and to see various departmental documents. Ethan walks away, and TC shows up and calls Ethan an arrogant little bastard. Sam says Ethan is just like Alistair and Julian. TC asks Sam what gives, a few hours ago he was defending Ethan. Sam tells TC that a few hours ago he thought Ethan was his son. Sam asks him what would make him think that? Sam says that Ivy blurted it out in the water, and that Grace even commented that Ethan looked like a Bennett. Sam says he was starting to buy into it, even getting excited about having another son. He says he knew it would be hard on his family, but he wanted it so bad. Sam tells TC that Ethan was born nine months after Ivy's wedding night, the night he slept with Ivy. However, Sam says that Ivy claims Ethan was born prematurely. Sam says he doesn't know what to do. He says he looked into Ethan's face to see if he could see himself, but he couldn't, so he guesses he has to believe Ivy. However, TC says that people usually tell the truth when they are delirious, not lie. Sam decides there is one way to learn the truth, he has to go to the hospital and look through the records.
At the mansion, Gwen asks Ivy if she has seen Ethan because they need to go to the hospital to get their blood tests done. Ivy says she hasn't seen Ethan. They talk about the marriage. Ivy assures her that there is no other woman in Ethan's life, and the idea that Theresa loves Ethan is laughable. Gwen says she knows that now, no thanks to her mother's suspicions. Pilar shows up and Ivy tells her that they were just talking about the wedding. Ivy says the countdown is about to begin, the first born Crane is about to be married. Gwen takes off to find Ethan, and Pilar asks Ivy if Sam believed the lie? Ivy says yes, and Pilar says she is afraid to think what would happen if the truth came out. She says that Gwen's family would stop the marriage, but Ivy assures Pilar that no one will find out the truth. Pilar prays that Ivy is right, but Sam is a policeman and he might investigate for evidence. Ivy says the only proof that Ethan is Sam son is in her closet. However, she then realizes Sam could find out that Ethan wasn't born prematurely, so she runs off to do something.
At the hospital, Eve catches Ivy in the hospital records room! Eve asks Ivy what she is doing here? Ivy says she is looking for Ethan's birth records so she can alter them. Eve says that is against the law! Ivy says that Ethan is her son, so she should be able to change them! Eve says the law says she can't! Ivy pleads with Eve to help her. She says that if she doesn't change the records, Ethan's life will be ruined! Eve says she can't help her because she could lose her license. She wonders what is so important about the records, so what if anyone saw them? Ivy says her life would fall apart, and she's only worried about Sam seeing them. Suddenly, Sam shows up outside the hospital records room!
Ethan goes to the Book Cafe and sees Chad, who is still hurting from his accident. Ethan asks him if something is wrong? Chad says he just didn't get enough sleep last night. Chad asks Ethan how his talk with Theresa went? Ethan tells Chad what he told Theresa, and how she reacted. Chad tells Ethan that marrying Gwen is a mistake that he will regret for the rest of his life! Ethan asks him what he means? Chad says it is simple, he doesn't love Gwen. Ethan says of course he does. Chad says he might love Gwen, but not the way he loves Theresa. He says that these feelings he has for Theresa won't disappear, and him marrying Gwen will only make two woman very unhappy. He says that he will not only break Theresa's heart, he will make Gwen miserable. Ethan tells Chad that he is wrong. Chad, however, says he thinks that he is making a big mistake about this wedding. Suddenly, Gwen shows up and asks Chad what he means?
At the Book Cafe, Gwen asks Chad what he means about Ethan making a big mistake about his wedding? Gwen demands to know what they were taking about, what mistake is Ethan making? Ethan says that Chad was just saying that he is making a mistake with the music. Gwen says it sounded like something more, but Chad says it was just about music. Gwen says her reaction is due to pre- wedding jitters, thanks to her mother trying to convince her that Theresa is trying to steal Ethan away from her. Gwen thought for a moment that Chad was telling Ethan he wasn't marrying the right woman. Ethan tells Gwen of course he's marrying the right woman, he loves her. Later, Chad once again tells Ethan that he still thinks he's making a mistake, and he should call off this wedding! He assures him that if he married Gwen he would spend everyday of his marriage wondering what it would be like to be married Theresa. Gwen, who was searching the paper for their wedding announcement, returns with it and says it sounds more like a business merger than a wedding announcement. However, Gwen says she'd marry Ethan even if he was penniless, but he's not, so there is no use talking about it. Chad puts on the song that Ethan and Theresa danced to, in hopes that it will make him wake up. However, Gwen exclaims that she loves this song, and she wants to play it at their wedding. Ethan and Gwen dance to the song, but they are interrupted by a call. Gwen gets a call from someone named Baily and the news is not good, so she runs outside to talk. Suddenly, Theresa and Whitney show up! Whitney asks Chad to turn this song off, but Chad refuses because he is determined to make Ethan realize he is in love with Theresa. Gwen returns and cries to Ethan that Baily came down with the measles and can't be her maid of honor. Ethan asks her to ask someone else, but Gwen says they don't have time to have another dress made. Gwen notices that Theresa is Baily's size, so she asks Theresa to be her maid of honor. Theresa is stunned, and Ethan tells Gwen that she can't ask this of Theresa. Gwen thinks that this will prove to her mother that she trusts him completely, and that she doesn't see Theresa as a threat. Gwen asks Ethan to ask for her because Theresa can't refuse him anything. She begs him, so he agrees. Ethan asks to speak with Theresa alone for a moment. He tells her that he knows this is a terrible imposition, but if she turns this down, she might make Gwen suspicious. Theresa says she can't be a witness to his marriage when she loves him so much. Ethan goes back to Gwen and tells her that Theresa said no because she feels awkward and it wouldn't be right. Gwen buys the excuse, and she and Ethan leave. Whitney tells Theresa that she did the right thing, but Chad tells her not to say no, she needs to stay in Ethan's face because it isn't over until it's over! Theresa shouts at Ethan and Gwen to wait, runs up to them, and says she'll do it!
At the hospital, Eve wonders why Ivy wants to change Ethan's birth records. She then realizes that Ethan is Sam's son! Eve refuses to keep this from Sam and she says she will tell Sam that Ethan is his son. Ivy tells Eve that Sam can't know the truth about Ethan. She tells Eve how she accidentally blurted the truth out when she thought she was going to die, and now she is sorry. Ivy tells her about Ethan being the new Crane heir, and that if the truth comes out Ethan will lose everything. She begs Eve to change the records to show that Ethan was born prematurely. Ivy tells Eve the whole story, about how she slept with Sam on her wedding night, and how her father forced Ivy to go back to Julian. She says that she didn't want to break Sam's heart again, so she let everyone think that Ethan was Julian's son. Eve still refuses to change the records. She tells Ivy that Ethan deserves to know he is a Bennett, and if Ivy won't tell him, then she will! Ivy tells Eve that she doesn't understand what is at stake. She says that the power of the Crane Empire is about to be handed over to Ethan, this is why she stayed married to Julian for all these years. Eve thinks Ivy is playing God, which is a sin. Ivy warns Eve that if she tells Sam about Ethan, then she will tell her daughters that she is a cheap slut who slept with Julian and had his child!
Meanwhile, Sam shows up outside the hospital records room. As he is about to enter, Julian shows up. Julian tells Sam that he heard all about him and Ethan. Sam asks him what he heard? Julian says he heard about Ethan bringing him and the police department up for review, and he assures him that Ethan will rake him over the coals just like Alistair did to Sam's father! Julian warns Sam to be prepared for a bloodbath. Julian walks off, and Sam walks into the records room. Ivy quickly hides, and Sam asks Eve if he can see Ethan's birth records. Eve asks why? Sam says that Ivy told him something, and he has to check it out. He asks if he can log onto the computer and check out Ethan's file? Eve says that the files on the computer don't go back that far, Ethan's would still be in the filing cabinet. Sam asks Eve for help, because he wouldn't know where to start, so she agrees to help him. She finds Ethan's file and asks what he wants to know? Sam asks Eve if Ethan was born prematurely? Eve looks at the records and says that Ethan was born prematurely. Sam realizes that Ethan isn't his son. Sam explains everything to Eve, and says that she has no idea how evil Ivy is. Sam leaves, and Ivy thanks Eve. Eve tells Ivy, aka the bitch, that she did it for her children, not her!
Alistair calls Julian to talk about Ethan, but Julian says he doesn't want to talk about Ethan now because Ivy is much more important. Julian tells his father that he thinks Ivy is up to something. Alistair tells Julian that if he comes up with some proof then they will discuss things. Later, Julian catches Ivy come out of the records room and wonders what she was doing in there?
At the beach, Kay realizes she has lost the pendant. Back by the bonfire, Faith urges Charity to embrace evil. Timmy wonders if Charity will do it. Tabitha says they can only hope so, because if she doesn't it is curtains for them. Charity asks her mom if she is sure about this? Faith says yes, she needs to follow her hearts desires, she will bring great harm to many people and no one will be able to stop her! Faith tells Charity to use her powers to destroy, to kill, to spread harm everywhere! The kids return with firewood, and Kay wonders why they needed it when the fire is roaring away. Miguel looks at Charity and asks her if she is okay? He thinks she is standing too close to the fire, so he pulls her away. The pendant's glow goes out, as does the fire. Kay sees Charity has the pendant and thinks she stole it, but Simone says it was hers to begin with. Miguel asks Charity what is wrong? Charity says she saw her mom in the flames of the fire, and she spoke to her. Kay asks if her mom talks to her often? Miguel asks what her mom said? Charity said that her mom said strange things to her, horrible things! Miguel says he knows someplace which will help her, so he and Charity leave.
Miguel takes Charity to the church where she prays to the angel girl statue. Charity says that she doesn't know what to do, she doesn't want to disobey her mother, but she doesn't want to do evil. The statue comes to life, and tells Charity that the voice she heard come from the flames was the voice of evil. The angel girl tells Charity that was not her mother, it was evil. She urges Charity to fight evil. Charity says she will try, and asks what she needs to do? A spying Tabitha damns the little angel for interfering. The little girl tells Charity to be brave and strong. Charity says that sometimes she thinks someone has taken over her body, so the little girl tells her that there are times she must fight harder. Kay and Simone see Charity talking to the statue, and Kay hopes Miguel sees it and realizes she is wacko. The kids eventually leave the church, and Charity's pendant starts to glow once again! Tabitha thinks that evil is taking over Charity again and that they have won and the angel has lost. The angel appears to Tabitha and warns her that she hasn't won yet. Tabitha says that the pendant Charity is wearing is in control. The angel girl knows and says that the only hope for the people of Harmony is for Charity to resist the evil and fight it, but if she can't, then all is lost. Meanwhile, Charity's eyes once again begin to glow red!
Sam and TC show up at the Bennetts, where Eve is waiting. They all talk about Ivy, and Sam says he's just grateful to Eve for helping him realize that Ethan isn't his son. TC is proud of his wife and says she'll do anything for the people she cares about. Still, Sam says he can't stop thinking what it would have been like to have Ethan as a son. Hank and the kids come in, and they are all laughing at a joke that Hank told them. Jessica hopes Hank will stick around for awhile, and Sam hopes the same thing. Hank says that the more he stays the harder it is for him to leave. Grace shows up, and Hank tells them that he'd like to talk to them about Kay's blouse being ripped today. He tells them that he doesn't think they should let the girls hang out down at the wharf anymore, considering a woman was murdered there, and Sam agrees. He tells the girls that they can't go down to the wharf by themselves anymore. Later, when Sam and Hank are alone, Sam talks to him about Sheridan Crane. He says he heard his name come up at the station and he knows what he's trying to do. Sam knows he has taken a job as a bodyguard, and thinks it could lead to him joining the force and settling down here in Harmony. Hank says he is a wandering man, but Sam thinks it is time he settles down. He then talks to him about Sheridan Crane. He tells Hank that he won't get in the way of him getting involved with Sheridan Crane, but she is still a Crane, even if she's a step above the others, and getting close to any of them is asking for trouble. Sam, Grace, TC, and Eve eventually leave for dinner, and Hank stays with the girls. The girls ask him about being a bodyguard, and Kay comments that Sheridan must feel so safe having him around. Meanwhile, Les shows up outside the Bennett's house and looks in the window! Hank and the girls play a game of poker, and Hank sees Les lean in the kitchen windows and point his gun at Kay, then at Jessica, and back at Kay!
At the Book Cafe, Theresa agrees to be Gwen's maid of honor. Gwen thanks Theresa with a big hug and says she doesn't know how she'd ever repay her! Gwen thinks they should all go out to dinner and finalize things, but Theresa has a better idea. She thinks they should all go home to her place for a home cooked meal because Ethan loves her mom's arroz con polo. Gwen says she didn't know Ethan liked Latin food and she'll have to get that recipe from Pilar. Ethan doesn't think this is a good idea, but eventually agrees to come to her house for dinner. Ethan and Gwen leave, and Whitney blames Chad for this. Theresa tells her not to worry, she knows it will all work out and somehow, some way she will be Mrs. Ethan Crane.
At the hospital, Julian asks Ivy what she is up to? Ivy says she has no idea what he's talking about, but he thinks this has to do with her secret. He asks her what she was doing in the records room? Ivy says she was just in there by accident, she came here to talk about the new pediatrics wing and took a wrong turn. Julian doesn't believe her story at all. Suddenly, an old nurse shows up and recognizes Ivy. She introduces herself as Edith Spurier and says she was the assisting nurse at the delivery of her first child. She remembers after her son was born she kept yelling out for the father's name because she wanted him to be there. She tries to remember the name, and Ivy quickly says her husbands name is Julian. Edith says that name doesn't ring a bell, she could have sworn it was a different name. Edith says she has an excellent memory when it comes to names and faces, and that is why this bugs her. Ethan and Gwen show up, and Julian goes to see them. Ivy tells Edith that it was good to see her again, and she assures Ivy that the name will come to her soon. Ivy joins Julian, Ethan, and Gwen. Ethan and Gwen are going to have their blood test. Gwen goes to check on their appointment, and Ethan tells Julian that he spoke to grandfather Alistair about trying to change his mind about passing him over as heir. Julian thanks Ethan. Later, Ivy overhears Eve call in and tell a nurse that she will be having dinner at the Lobster Shack tonight, and that the reservation is under the name Bennett. Ivy suddenly gets a craving for lobster, and hopes Sam won't be too mad at her. An eavesdropping Edith hears Ivy mention Sam's name, and she realizes that is the name Ivy kept calling out when she was giving birth to her baby. Edith eventually leaves Ivy alone, and Ivy tells Julian that she'd like to go out for lobster tonight. Julian says as long as they don't have to go to that Lobster Shed place. Ivy says it is the Lobster Shack, and no one invited him. Julian invites Ethan and Gwen to go out with him to dine at the Seascape, but they says they already have plans. They leave, and Julian asks Ivy what is so great about the Lobster Shack? Ivy says it has a certain charm to it. Suddenly, Julian tells Ivy that he's figured out her secret, it has to do with a certain baby! Ivy asks her what he's talking about? Julian says that Ivy always craves lobster when she is pregnant. Ivy laughs and asks how she would have achieved the state of immaculate conception? Julian says perhaps that is not it, but he decides to go to the Lobster Shack with Ivy in order to keep a close eye on her. Ivy tells Julian that she'll meet him at the car because she needs to visit the powder room.
The Bennetts and Russells show up at the Lobster Shack and run into the Cranes. Ivy says they must be on the same Lobster Shack schedule. Grace thinks this is perfect and says they can all eat together!
At the cottage, Sheridan and Luis have fallen asleep while watching the slides. Sheridan has a dream about being in Spain with Luis and passionately kissing him. Luis has a similar dream about Sheridan. In the real world, Sheridan and Luis lean in and give one another a kiss! Suddenly, Pilar walks in and can't believe what she is seeing. Luis and Sheridan wake up, and Sheridan has a very guilty look on her face. Pilar had brought muffins, and Sheridan explains that they must have fallen asleep. Sheridan puts the muffins away so Pilar can stay and talk to Luis. Luis swears to his mom that it wasn't what it looked like, they just fell asleep. Pilar says it didn't look like they were sleeping when she walked in. Luis says it was totally unconscious on both of their parts, and he is over Sheridan. Pilar hopes he is being honest. She says that she loves Sheridan like a daughter, but the Cranes will do anything to keep them from becoming involved. Luis promises his mom that he will be careful. Pilar looks at the slides and says that his father promised to take her there one day. Luis promises his mother that after he is finished guarding Sheridan, he will find out what happened to his father. Pilar begs him to let it go, but Luis says he can't. Pilar leaves, and Sheridan reminds Luis that his mom's birthday is coming up. Luis says she is right, and gets an idea as to what the perfect present for her would be. Luis calls some dance studios to try and learn a new dance for his mom's birthday, but nobody knows it. Sheridan asks Luis what the dance is? He says it is the Paso Dablo, and it was his mom's dream to go to Spain and dance it with her father. He thinks if he could dance this dance with his mom on her birthday, perhaps she would feel that a small part of her dream came true. Sheridan tells Luis that he is in luck, she knows the dance and can teach it to him. Luis says that it wouldn't be appropriate, but Sheridan doesn't think it is that big of a deal considering they've seen each other nude! Luis eventually agrees to let Sheridan teach him the dance. Sheridan puts on some music and guides Luis through the dance.
Whitney, Theresa, and Chad go to Theresa's house. Whitney and Chad argue over whether this is a good idea or not. Theresa is willing to take a risk to win Ethan, because she is sure that it will work out. She uses Luis and Sheridan as an example. She is positive that they will fall head over heels in love with one another, and then Luis will have to accept her relationship with Ethan. Whitney begs her to use her overactive imagination to come up with a reason to call off this dinner, but Theresa refuses. Chad tells Theresa that she has guts, and one day soon Ethan will realize that he loves her and not Gwen. Theresa thanks Chad for his support. After Theresa leaves the room, Chad holds his side. Later, Chad looks in the closet for some trays, and almost comes across the attache case! Ethan and Gwen show up and Chad invites them in. Ethan notices his mother's attache case in the closet and picks it up. He looks at it and says it is his mother's case, and he wonders what it is doing here. Chad goes into the kitchen and tells Theresa that Gwen and Ethan are here. Theresa leaves to greet her guests, and finds Ethan with Ivy's case. Theresa asks him what he is doing? Ethan says this is his mother's case, and he asks why it is in their closet? Theresa says she doesn't know why it is here, but she knows what is inside. However, she remembers Pilar warning her that no one can find out what is inside the case. Suddenly, Pilar shows up, and sees what is happening. Pilar shakes her head. Back in the kitchen, Whitney asks Chad if he could go out and grab a fresh tomato from the garden. Chad grunts as he gets up, and Whitney asks if he is okay? Chad says he is fine. Chad leaves, and Whitney finds his bloody rags in the garbage can.
In the living room, Pilar overhears Ethan asks Theresa what his mom's attache case is in her house? Theresa says she doesn't know, all she knows is that it has some papers that concern him and his mom asked her mom to keep it here. He asks what papers, and she says all she saw was his birth certificate. Ethan decides to open it, but Pilar says no, it's locked! Ethan says he thinks he knows the combination, and then attempts to open it. As Ethan works to open it, Gwen asks Theresa how she got it open? Theresa says she accidentally dropped it and when her mom found her with it she really got upset. Ethan is now very curious. Gwen asks Pilar what is in there, and Pilar says it really is nothing. Gwen asks Theresa what else she saw? Theresa says there was some baby pictures in there. Ethan decides he doesn't want to open this if it the one of him taking a bath. Gwen, however, really wants to see Ethan's baby pictures. Ethan remembers the combination for the case and tries once again to open it. The case opens, and Pilar tells Ethan that he can't look in there! Ethan asks why not? Pilar asks him to just trust her, it will only cause trouble. Gwen tells Ethan she knows why Ivy gave the case to Pilar, it is a surprise for the wedding. Gwen thinks that Ivy asked Pilar to make a memory book for their wedding. Ethan buys Gwen's theory and gives the case back to Pilar. Chad and Whitney bring the food out for everyone, and Theresa asks her mother what she is hiding, what doesn't she want anyone to see? Pilar says she has warned her before, if she pursues this terrible things will happen. Meanwhile, as Gwen and Ethan eat, Gwen tells Ethan that it is obvious how much she loves him. Ethan says he doesn't understand. Gwen asks him if he really thought she wouldn't notice? Gwen was only talking about Pilar, which relieves Ethan. When Gwen walks away, Chad tells Ethan that he knows he thought she was talking about Theresa. Ethan tells Chad to just drop it. Meanwhile, Pilar tells Theresa to put the case back in the closet and forget about it. Theresa does as her mom asks, but comes across an old photo album. Gwen sees Theresa looking at it and asks if she could look at it? Theresa says sure and gives it to Gwen. While Gwen looks through the album, Ethan talks to Theresa about her feelings for him. He tells her that what she feels for him is not love because love takes time to develop. He says they only recently met, they haven't know each other long enough to have deep feelings for one another. He tells her that she only feels friendship for him, not love. Ethan says she will get over this crush, and wants to make sure that they'll always be friends. Theresa nods that they will, and Ethan is glad. Elsewhere, Pilar freaks out when she sees Gwen looking at the photo album. She tells Whitney that there is something in there that Theresa cannot see because it will only give her more hope. Gwen tells Pilar that these photos look like they were taklen at Sheridan's cottage. Pilar says that they used to live there. Pilar takes the photo album from her, and a photo falls out. Gwen looks at the photo and in it a little boy is giving a little girl a rag doll. She asks Ethan if they know who these two are. Ethan and Theresa look at the photos and they both says "That's me!" Ethan and Theresa don't remember knowing one another when they were younger. As everyone looks at the picture, Chad excuses himself to check on his nasty wound. Ethan and Theresa don't remember this being taken. Gwen laughs and says that if Theresa meet Ethan when he was this young, then they have known one another longer than the two of them have.
At the Lobster Shack, Ivy accepts Grace's invitation. The waiter tells Grace that it might be awhile before a table for six is available, but Grace says they can wait. Sam is positive that Ivy is once again up to something. TC says that if Julian even looks at his wife tonight he will finish what he started on the prom boat. Eve asks Ivy what she's up to tonight? Ivy says nothing, but Eve doesn't believe her. Eve tells Ivy to march into the ladies room with her so they can have a talk. Ivy refuses, so Eve threatens to tell Julian the truth about Ethan. That causes Ivy to have a sudden urge to powder her nose. Sam scolds Grace for inviting Julian and Ivy to join them, but Grace says she feels sorry for them because they have such a poor marriage. She is hoping that their good vibes will rub off on them. Julian gets a call from an angry Alistair, so he excuses himself. Alistair is furious with Julian for having dinner with the locals when Luis is with Sheridan trying to rekindle their relationship! Julian is positive that Luis will not cross the line with Sheridan because he has threatened to send him back to jail. Alistair says that Luis would go to hell and back to please his lover! Julian says that they are not lovers, but Alistair says it only takes the right situation to bring them closer together than ever before. Alistair says if Luis learns the secrets that cottage holds then it will bring down the entire Crane Empire! Julian says who cares, he's no longer an heir. Alistair reminds him about the bullet and his part in its history. Alistair tells Julian that he could go to jail for a long long time! Julian tells his father the same fate would fall upon him, but AListair says people like him don't go to jail! Julian says he is not going to go to prison, and then tells his father he has to go because the dinner from hell is ready. Julian says he can't wait to find out what Ivy is up to. Alistair tells him to forget Ivy and worry about Sheridan and Luis! Julian says unless he reinstates him as his heir, that is not his job. Julian hangs up and vows to uncover Ivy's secret.
Eve and Ivy go into the bathroom, and Eve lays into Ivy for making her lie to Sam. Eve feels dirty and despicable, but Ivy says she'll get over it. Eve and Ivy start threatening one another with the dirt they have on the other. Ivy says they both have a lot to lose, but so does Grace. Ivy asks Eve how she thinks Grace would feel if she learned her husband had another son? Suddenly, Grace walks in and says "Another son?" Grace asks them what they are talking about? Ivy says they were just talking about having more babies. Grace buys the excuse, and asks Ivy if she and Julian are thinking having another baby? Ivy says good gracious no, and asks Grace not to mention this to Julian because it is a sore subject. Grace says their table is ready, and the manager has a surprise for them!
Julian, for some reason, has a picture of Ethan (it was part of the manager's surprise). Grace looks at the photo and tells Sam to come look at it. Sam does, and Grace says this photo shows the resemblance more than any other she's seen. Julian asks her what she is talking about? Grace says that Ethan looks like he could be a Bennett! Grace says if she didn't know better she'd say that Ethan was Sam's son.
Luis and Sheridan end up falling onto the floor as they are dancing. Sheridan laughs, and asks Luis if he is ready to continue? Luis says he is ready if she is. A phone call from the dance school interupts them and Sheridan answers. She says that the school has found someone to teach him the dance, but Luis tells Sheridan to tell them that he already found an instructor. Sheridan asks if they should take a break? Luis says no, his mother's birthday is tomorrow, so he needs all the practice he can get. Luis and Sheridan continue their dance, which brings them very close to kissing several times. Sheridan says they make a good team, which triggers a memory for Luis. Luis remembers watching his mother teach his father the same dance years ago. Martin asked Luis what he thought of his mom and pop, they make a good team don't they? Luis said they are the best. Martin told her Pilar that one day he'd take her and the entire family to Spain, and Martin promised Pilar that they would dance the night away. Luis remembers that was around the time his father disappeared, and Alistair and Julian kicked them out. Luis swears that he will pay back AListair and Julian, he will make them all pay. Sheridan asks "Including me?" She says that she doesn't know what she was thinking, this hatred he has for his family will always come between them.
At the Bennett's, Hank sees Les aim his gun at Kay and Jessica through the kitchen window. He tells them that they should go into the living room and watch the ballgame, but they don't want to. Hank ends up throwing himself behind the girls to shield them from Les. Kay asks what is wrong, and Hank says nothing, he just loves them so much and hugs them. Hank tells them to go into the living room and turn on the ball game while he orders them a pizza. After they leave, Hank goes outside and finds himself at the other end of Les' gun. Hank tells him to just shoot him, but leave his nieces out of this. Les tells him that he isn't getting away that easy, he has a job to do. Les tells Hank that he wants Sheridan Crane dead, otherwise he starts picking off his family one by one. Hank goes back inside and starts closing all the curtains and shutters, which worries Kay and Jessica. Later, Les calls Hank back and tells him to come outside, NOW. Hank claims he has to get something from his car and excuses himself. Outside, Les asks Hank if he's going to kill Sheridan Crane or not? Hank says no, he can't do it! Les says fine, if that is his final answer. Les then aims his gun at Kay, who is standing at the kitchen sink.
