Maggie and Magic

Meet Maggie and Magic. These are 2 wonderful girls that were given up by their owner as she couldn't afford their medical care. When one developed a cold their owner took them to a vet and only treated them with half the medicine they were   supposed to give. Then off to another vet because they weren't any better and more medicine. This time none of the medicine was given. This has caused Maggie to develop scars on her lungs and she needs daily treatments to try to correct what has happened to her. These 2 girls are very bonded and love living in their new forever home. Please, if your pet is given medicine by your vet give it as  directed. Thanks to Mike and Julie for giving these  girls a place to be.
Update, sadly Maggie passed away in 2/2008

Darlin

Meet Darlin. She came to us from a local shelter  because her senior owner had died and no one in the family wanted to take her. When she was first brought there she didn't want to eat because of all the noise and commotion. She then developed a small sore on her cheek. She came to The Critter Corral and started on treatment for the small wound which healed up. Sadly, it came back again and the Dr said it is something which will come back and need treatment on a regular basis.     Darlin's foster mom Lori has loved her from the start and decided to take her home and care for her. She said she is one pampered princess now. Thanks Lori to letting Darlin steal your heart!
