Sandra Kim
  - The golden Voice from Belgium -..
(my favorite) female Artist; born 1972 in the wallonian part of Belgium;

 Everything must have got started around January 1972...

• ...Some 9 Months later and after hard work to do for a happy mother...
• ...she was there. Sandra has entered this world at 11:45 AM on Sunday, 15.10.1972 in Montegnée near Luik (Liège), Belgium -
• Sandra was born under the Banner-Stars of Libra (flem.: het Wegschaal/fr.: la Balance), these people usually are very up-rising but have a mind which is very equalized & peaceful. They have an excellent sense for righteousness & fairness..., they mostly do the "right" things by a given own inspiration. They are tending to lead an independent Life to keep themselves equipped with prosperity and health. They also are highly intelligent people, relieable and have a warmy inner heart but they may also be very cold - as ice if neces-   sary - when feeling endangered or treated inadequate. Usually, they develop a welladjusted relationship between themselves and the world with its people around them. Last but not least they have a very sharpened sense for estethic things. They love the light more than the darkness.
• Sandra has been living near Luik(Liège) during Childhood & Youth.
• she actually resides at Brussels.
• her current Age : 25.
• her current Height : roughly around 1.65 ... ? (since 1.53 were reported in 1986);
• her eyes are brown - & sweet (like chocolate uses to be, too...) -;
• she loves to collect perfumes, jeans are her favourite clothing in leisure time.
• she also loves horseriding, tasty food & doing shopping all day - if there's time to...
• her voice - which is her capital indeed - is extremely clear, with that mysterious touch of sharpness & a very certain and impressing portion of smokyness which is so characteristic for the somehow dramatic sounding and also languishing passages in her songs (and for herself, of course). These two different streams of her voice she is able to mix perfectly  just in time as the song requires at the moment... As a hint: tune in the treble at its maximum while listening to a CD of her for better highfrequency resolution once and you'll know what I mean - this blinking "knife" (and also the smoke) in her voice -  can't be heard like it should be if you would have linearized adjustment only). The maximum measured harmonic subfreqs in her voice are almost out of range from being heard for standalone - closely beyond the 20 kHz indeed - but that's the thing what causes "it" - transparency and this "razor-knife)"....
• Sandra doesn't like to eat Spinach; doesn't like piercings (??? -  Girls always have at minimum two of them - in the ears - for those lovely rings, stones, pins and other objects to put onto);
• but, she VERY likes icecream (her friends called her "miss ice-cream") - here you see her true kind-of-nature she derives from : italian - indeed. This is one of her secrets which cannot be seen from outside without knowing more about her background...
• she dislikes everything with long legs that is crawling up the Wall.. especially those ugly Spiders... the bigger, the more she hates this & couldn't sleep in the presence of them.
• her favorite artists are : Silvester Stallone, Barbara Streisand, George Michael for example, also known are names like A-HA, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Bryan Adams.
• her Mother is called Anna, 47;
• her Father is called Guiseppe, 53;
• she has one jounger Sister also, called Barbara, 17; (ages are counted up - hope correctly - from reported Status in 1986)
• she visited School at the Athenée Royale at Luik/Liège;
• her later School was the "artiestieke humaniora" in ???
• her first appearance at a Singer's Competition was at the age of 7 (about 1979);

• she became leading Singer of a Band called "Musiclub";
• she won a Prize 1985 (no.4) - with Musiclub - at Ambrogino d’Oro festival in Milano, Italy with her Song "Ami-Ami" in 1985 - and some different prizes on other Festivals;
• 1986 she became a Grand prix d'Eurovision Winner, youngest artist ever who has won this famous annual Contest here in Europe (recorded in the Guinnes Book of World Records of 1987, not broken still today!);
• many appearances during this time, Photo Sessions and Interviews all over the World...
• studied singing & acting, did many things, first of all the singles & LPs, sung some title songs for films, has already acted in one film also, many TV appearances (mostly in the Netherlands and Belgium, but in France also), did some modeling for clothing designers.
• She likes artistic activities,walking in the nature, painting and drawing.
• once sung duets with Eros Ramazotti, Luc Steeno, lateron she keeps producing together with Frank Galan - who is also a famous belgian artist and a very interesting Singer - and other artists, but in the newest time she procuces solo again.
• During the summers, she is doing shows at the coast of Belgium. *1998*
• Sandra is interpreting songs mostly in french, italian, flemish & english.
• At minimum she received 10 Awards which are documented until June 1986.              <  >
• her former songs: J'aime La Vie, Crazy Of Life, Ne M'oublies Pas, AmiAmi, Aspette  Ami... and lots of other CDs & Singles;
• 1997 newer LP-CD (duet with Frank Galan) : "Onvorgettelijk", Actual Single : "Un Jour, Une   Femme" from 1998.
• 1998 newest LP-CD "Heel diep in mijn hart".

• .. to be continued ... - things keep on developing as life teaches us...

• Sandra has been married since 1994 but is already living separated again (or is completely divorced) from her former husband Olivier Gérard.

• Sandra looks very pretty (already since well-known in 1985), is a very polite and friendly personality with a lot of Charm & Love in her eyes and is doing a good job with singing & entertaining people by this; is a beloved & attended person in her environment of course.

• Interesting: Original hair colour is castaign-brown, not blond, this is an application colour! (but looks as good as well, Sandra, you are as even as beautiful with every colour!)

• One will find a nice Tattoo on the rear side of her left shoulder, showing a red rose with a rank. Lovely! (although she loves white roses indeed, but the red one simply looks better  on her fine and relatively light skin - may also carry a secret we don't know...)

• What might make her additionally exceptional sympathic & lovely is the fact, that she seems to love her sister, Barbara, in a way that is going very far. This is because she dedicated a song specially for her. This song is that so filled with emotional expression    of Love and inner connection. ("Voor jou, Barbara"/"Pour toi, Barbara").

• Another fact is obviously her very thankful and natural way. She doesn't take things that  have been done for her by others (friends, fans, specially by her family), for being just normal. She gives a certain feedback to all those, also if this have been only minor things. If you want to see this for yourself, just give white roses to her, you'll be regarded with some special attention, after one of her shows e.g. It's an enjoyment, a special event, to talk with her and just to be with her for a while, too. It's unforgettable.

I haven't heard much more details concerning her further history else but i am looking forward to get some more current Info's to create a larger tribute Site for her.
