The rise of the Hashimite Kingdom of Jordan
Remember the Prophet PBUH said a ruler descended from the Quraish (which the Hashimites are) will rise from Syria/Jordan to go south in an attempt to attack the rising army of the Imam Mahdi but shall be utterly annihilated.
Today we see the scene being set with Turkey allying itself with Israel and Jordan against the muslim world as well as being a NATO member and an European-community-member wanna-be. Turkey has consistently persecuted the muslim believers and has even had the audacity to challenge God by making Hijab and the beard illegal especially in schools and public office. They have closed down Qur'anic schools and have imprisoned the muslim believers and politicians and businessmen. They have mocked the Lord and the Lord's anger has been kindled against Turkey. The Imam Mahdi will come and liberate the Turkish muslims from their oppressive secular rulers and re-establish Turkey's rightful place as an honoured member of the muslim nation.
Glory be to God. Only till recently was Istanbul (Constantinple), Syria/Jordan and Jerusalem (Israel/Palestine) taken away from the hands of the muslim Caliphate. God Almighty has set the stage for the fulfilment of the prophecy of our Prophet PBUH that the forces of the Imam Mahdi will rise and conquer Syria/Jordan, Jerusalem and Constantinople (Istanbul, Turkey) after which the Antichrist will rise. This prophecy wouldn't have made sense when the Islamic Caliphate already ruled these lands but now, world political events have allowed it.
Because the Imam Mahid will be a threat to their alliance, NATO including Turkey and its allies, Israel and Israel's bosom buddy King Hussein of Jordan (or his successor) will attack him but alas, how hopeless is a fight against a force that is backed by none less than the Greatest Force in the Universe, God Himself.
The Prophet said : "The people
will soon summon one another to attack you as people
when eating invite others to share their dish. "
The Prophet PBUH said :"Soon
the people of IRAQ will
neither receive any food (grain) nor any money.'" We asked, "Why would such a
thing happen?" He replied, "Because of the non-Arabs."

The West, especially the United States is the modern Pharoah. Pharoah was a tremendous trial for the children of Israel. He slaughtered their children and enslaved them. In his arrogance he believed that he was the sovereign ruler and could get away with anything for ever. Pharoah wished his subjects to worship him as god. The parallels with the West are apparent.
Soon shall the deliverer of Islam rise by the grace of God and destroy the West as Moses destroyed Pharoah and his nation. It is said that the followers of the Imam will be relatively few initially but they will conquer the world. Just like Pharoah thought his might will make him victorious against the God of Moses, the West feels confident of their superpower status in the world. Yet, the West is nothing more than a hollow and empty shell. The society is decaying and rotting from within and its a matter of time before the inner foundation will no longer be able to support the shell and all will come crumbling down.
It has always been God's way (according to the Qur'an) to destroy the enemies from directions "they perceive not". Consider Alexander the Great. Eventualy what brought this warrior to his death bed was not a mighty army but a lowly mosquito that brought malaria upon him. One can sit and conjecture upon almost infinite scenarios upon how a small band of Imam Mahdi followers will destroy the West. Consider how in the 7th Century AD, a small band of poor illiterate desert Arabs with extremely scarce weapons were unleashed upon the world and fought not one but TWO superpowers SIMULTANEOUSLY (Persian and the Byzantine Empire) and defeated them both! In a short time this rag-tag army had conquered the world from Spain in the West to India in the East! What was their weapon of choice? Faith! The Prophet's prediction came amazingly true in the above case. Why would we not believe him when he said the same thing will happen in the latter days but in even greater glory!
Indeed it has been said before and needs to be said again. In this battle for the souls of mankind, the most committed wins. God aids whom he wills.
The Prophet PBUH said : "There
will be four peace
agreements between you and the Romans (the Western powers)."

The Islamic revolution - based on the principle that it is a trust to be handed over to the Imam Mahdi when he comes
Iran - the major opponent of the selling out of muslim rights and ideologically fiercely dedicated to the eventual liberation of Jerusalem. She also is the prime supporter of the liberation struggle of brother Lebanese and Palestinians
The Prophet PBUH said
:"(Armies carrying) black flags will come
from Khurasaan (Iran). No power will be able to stop them and they will finally reach Eela
(Dome of the Rock in
Jerusalem) where they will erect their flags."
"Lo.' ye are they, who are
called to expend for the Cause of God: and some of you are niggards: but whosoever is
niggardly shall be
niggard only to his own loss; for God is the Rich and ye are the poor: and if ye turn
back, He will change you for another
people, and the shall not be of your like." (Qur'an 47:40)
Prophet Muhammad was asked who were the people God referred to as "another
people", who were to
replace the Arabs. One of Muhammad's followers, Salman, a Persian, was sitting near Him.
Muhammad patted on the legs of Salman and said: "He, and his people." And the he
continued: "By the True One, in Whose
hand is my life, if the Faith of God should be suspended in the Pleiades, surely, men from
Persia shall reach it."
(This tradition is accepted by both Sunnis and Shia's and is included bay Nasafi in his
book, Vol. IV, p;age 169, as well as by
Muhammad Farid Vajdi, in his book, third edition, page 676.)
A hadith given by al-Bukhari and Muslim states that Abu Hurairah (ra) narrated Allah's Messenger (saw) as saying: If the Religion were at the Pleiades, even then a person from Persia would have taken hold of it, or one amongst the Persian descent would surely have found it.Abu Hurairah (ra) also narrates: We were sitting in the company of Allah's Apostle (saw) when Surat al-Jumâa was revealed to him and when he recited amongst them, (those who were sitting there) said Allahs Messenger? but Allah's Apostle (saw) made no reply, until he was questioned once, twice or thrice, and there was amongst us Salman the Persian. Allah s Apostle (saw) placed his hand on Salman and then said: Even if faith were near the Pleiades, a man from amongst these would surely find it.
It is of interest to note that the Prophet PBUH specifically said the army of the East will come from Khurasan which today is a province in Iran. This is interesting because Mashhad, a city Holy to the sh'ites is the main city of the province of Khurasan and is a hotbed of Imam Mahdi Millenarian expectations. Now it might be objected to that Iran is a shi'te government and they don't exactly follow proper Islamic rules in everything. That is very much true. I certainly myself disagree with quite a few things they have done. But the main thing is, the government of Iran and the Iranian and Iraqi people have a very intense love for the Imam Mahdi almost unique in the muslim world. The shi'ite belief is based on an intense love for the family of the Prophet PBUH and their allegiance to the Imam Mahdi. May I remind the reader also that in the above hadeeth the Prophet PBUH said his family will be persecuted till this army of the East from Khurasan will arise and hand over government to someone from his family! True the Imam Mahdi the sh'ites expect is one that has according to them came 1000 or so years ago and has been alive since. The Imam Mahdi will unite the sunnis and the sh'ites by correcting all innovation in theology....that is why the Imam will be such a miracle!
I feel also that when Iran acquires atomic weapons and starts to level the playing field sort-off against Israel and its allies then we should eagerly anticipate the days of Glory to be around the corner
The coming Islamic revolution of Iraq :
Reports say that with the enormous impact of the sanctions the Iraqi people have resorted to religion in droves. The surface events can be deceptive. Underneath, a major metamorphoses is occurring in the Iraqi nation setting the scene for their Islamic Revolution. God Almighty has utilized the oppression of the world against the noble Iraqi people to purify them and to turn them to Him who is the only true sovereign. Soon shall God honour the Iraqi nation. They along with Iran will be the key initial supporters of the Imam and paradoxically through Islam, they shall turn the tides and conquer the world under the Imam's and Jesus's leadership. See indeed how God makes the oppressed and downtroden the masters of the world. Even as he did it with Moses and Prophet Muhammad PBUH shall he do it yet again, nay with far greater splendour and Glory, with the Imam Mahdi and Jesus the son of Mary!
"...thereafter a huge army
will proceed from Syria to attack him (the Imam Mahdi) but when they will be at Baida,
which is between
Makkah and Madina, they will be swallowed into the ground.
On seeing this, the Abdaals of Syria as well as large numbers of people from IRAQ will
come to him and pledge their
allegiance to him. Then a person from the Quraish, whose uncle will be from the Bani Kalb
tribe will send an army
to attack him, only to be overpowered, by the will of Allah.
Iraqi Protesters in Washngton in support of an Islamic Revolution in Iraq:
More of the Iraqi Islamic opposition and their demand for the downfall of Saddam. Here they are celebrating along with Iran "International Day of Jerusalem" to remind all muslims of our sacred struggle to liberate Holy Jerusalem and to sanctify it to God :
Right now the only credible opposition in Iraq is the Islamic Opposition that is headquartered in Tehran, Iran. The West is weakening Saddam Hussein and eventually the Islamic Revolution will overtake Iraq and Iraq and Iran will then be practically one entity. Remember the army that is to arise from the East and in the above hadeeth, the Prophet PBUH again confirmed that the people of Iraq will be one of the first to come and give their allegiance to the Imam Mahdi in Mecca while the rulers of Jordan will attack the Imam.
Further a Jam'at (group) of the Imam Mahdi faction will conquer India at which they will rejoice greatly in this divine favour (see book Signs of Qiyamah)
I feel very strongly that Pakistan and possibly Afghanistan and some other Central Asian states that will come under the Islamic banner in the near future will join Iraq and Iran as the "Army from East". The eastern front of this alliance will invade India and will be victorious. The current acquisition of nuclear technology by Pakistan is interesting to note.
The Grand Mosque of Damascus where Jesus will descend from heaven during morning prayers which the Imam Mahdi will be leading:
Said the Prophet PBUH: "The
place of assembly of the Muslims at the time of the war will be in
al-Ghutah near a city called Damascus, one of the best cities in Syria. "
Said the Prophet PBUH: " He
(Jesus) will descend at the white minaret on the eastern side of Damascus, wearing two
garments lightly dyed with saffron and placing his hands on the wings of two Angels. When
he lowers his head, there will fall beads of perspiration from his head, and when he
raises it
up, beads like pearls will scatter from it. Every non-believer who smells the odor of his
body will die and his breath will reach as far as he is able to see. He will then search
for
him (Antichrist) until he catches hold of him at the gate of Ludd (Jerusalem) and kills
him.
Then a people whom Allah had protected will come to Jesus, son of Mary, and he will wipe
their faces and inform them of their ranks in Paradise."
The sacred Rock in the Aqsa Mosque (Jerusalem) from where the Prophet Muhammad PBUH went to heaven. Jesus and the Imam Mahdi and the companions of the Mahdi will congregate here :
Said the Prophet PBUH :
"There will be an oath of allegiance according to
guidance in Jerusalem."
Said the Prophet : "The bare-footed and naked paupers (of Arabia) will compete with one another in constructing high buildings"
Abu Dhabi :
"people will hop between the clouds and the earth" & "great distances will be traversed in a short time"
"The hour will not come until the time when a man will leave his home and his shoes or whip or stick will tell what is happening to his family"
"Men will lie with men and women will lie with women"

increase in Richter 5+ earthquakes.

"The building of the Bayt-al-Maqdis (in Jerusalem) will be followed by the destruction of Yathrib (Medina) which will be followed by a fierce battle, which will be followed by the conquest of Constantinople, which will be followed by the appearance of the AntiChrist". Then he put his hand on the thigh of the one with whom he was speaking and said : " This is true as the fact that you are sitting here"
Glory be to God! What are the odds that a State of Israel will arise after over 2 millenia and have as its Eastern border the very dividing line of the River Jordan that the Prophet PBUH said would be the demarcation line between the muslim armies and the Judeo-Christian armies! A prophecy fulfilled indeed!"
"Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans" Qur'an 5:82
[bani Isra'il 17:4] And We gave
(Clear) Warning to the Children of Israel in the Book, that twice would they do mischief
on
the earth and be elated with mighty arrogance (and twice would they be punished)!
[bani Isra'il 17:5] When the first of the warnings came to pass, We sent against you Our
servants given to terrible warfare:
They entered the very inmost parts of your homes; and it was a warning (completely)
fulfilled.
[bani Isra'il 17:6] Then did We grant you the Return as against them: We gave you increase
in resources and sons, and made
you the more numerous in man-power.
[bani Isra'il 17:7] If ye did well, ye did well for yourselves; if ye did evil, (ye did
it) against yourselves. So when the second of
the warnings came to pass, (We permitted your enemies) to disfigure your faces, and to
enter your Temple as they had entered
it before, and to visit with destruction all that fell into their power.
[bani Isra'il 17:8] It may be that your Lord may (yet) show Mercy unto you; but if ye
revert (to your sins), We shall revert (to
Our punishments): And we have made Hell a prison for those who reject (all Faith).
The "first of the warnings" was when Nebuchadnezzar dispersed the Jews and destroyed the Temple. The Temple was then rebuilt due to Cyrus the Great of Persia allowing it. The second of the warnings was when the Roman Empire destroyed the Temple again and dispersed the Jews around the world. Each time God had mercy on the Jews but when the Jews reached the height of their power they forgot God, became oppressors and arrogant. God then says that after the second diaspora, it may be that He will have mercy on them again (which He did by allowing the creation of the state of Israel) but history repeated itself. The Jews have again grown arrogant and have become oppressors in the world not only against the Palestinians but also by working tirelessly to undermine Islam in the world , the very religion of God. God then ends the above verses by saying that when He has mercy on them, if they return to their old habits, He will punish them yet again. This time, God will send the Imam Mahdi to once and for all establish the Kingdom of God!

So the likely scenario seems to be the following :
1) The Islamic movement around the world picks up steam in anticipation of the Imam Mahdi
2) Iran will become stronger and acquire advanced weapons
3) There will be an Islamic Revolution in Iraq and both nations will become allies
possibly in combination with Pakistan (who will later invade India)
4)The Imam Mahdi will arise in Mecca when he's 40 years old and the people of Iraq and
Syria will come to give their allegiance to him . The government of Iran will also pledge
their forces to the Imam Mahdi
5) On seeing this, the ruler of Jordan and possibly Syria will come south to attack the
Imam but will be annihilated
6) The forces of the Imam Mahdi will then sweep north from Saudi Arabia and West from Iraq
to overrun Syria
7) In Damascus the muslim forces will gather and re-group
8) The West at this time will be in 2 groups. Someone from the progeny of Prophet Aaron (A
Levite) will sign a peace treaty with the Imam at the start of his 7 year rule (this will
be the 4th such treaty with the muslim world the 1st probably being the current
PLO-Israeli sell-out) and this treaty will last for almost 7 years
9) This Roman/European ally of the Imam will join the Imam and together they will conquer
an "enemy beyond Rome" as the Prophet PBUH said. Who this is , is anyone's guess
but my hunch would be America/Briton.
10) During the 7th year of the Imam's rule a disagreement will arise with this so-called
European ally of the Imam and the European ally will join the other Western forces and
gather an army to attack the emerging Caliphate
11) The Imam will prepare now to go south-west to the River Jordan and invade Israel to
reclaim Jerusalem. Nuclear weapons will start to be employed probably around this point
and enormous number of people will die
12) Jerusalem will probably be levelled thus explaining the above hadeeth where it says
that the building of the Mosque in Jerusalem will happen before the Antichrist will come
13) The Mahdi's army will be victorious and will take over Jerusalem
14) The Mosque in Jerusalem will be re-built
15) In retaliation the West will attack Medina and will send an army to invade it but a
muslim force will oppose them. One third of this muslim force will run away, one third
will be martyred and one third will be victorious
16) The Mahdi forces will then move North to invade Turkey and conquer Constantinople and
then re-group again in Syria
17) Another battle will occur between the West and the muslims around Syria/Palestine
which the Prophet PBUH described by saying that its ferocity will have been unheard of
till then. It will last 4 days and out of 100 men , 99 will die. And yet, the muslim
forces will again be victorious
18) A segment of the muslim forces will then invade Europe and conquer Rome in punishment
for their previous attacks on the Caliphate
19)While the muslim forces are re-grouping in Syria (after the last victory) the
Antichrist will take hold in Isfahan, Iran. The Mahdi is prophecied to rule for 7 years
and the Antichrist will rise in the last couple of months. The capture of Jerusalem,
Constantinople and the rise of the Antichrist will happen within 7 months during the last
part of the Imam's 7 year reign. The Antichrist will claim to be the Messiah of the Jews
and the return of Christ and Jews and Christians will believe him. He will claim to be God
himself
20) The Antichrist will then go around and conquer the world. He will rule for 1 year and
a bit
21) The Arabs will be few by this time and they along with other muslims will be holed up
in Jerusalem and Damascus. So much death will have occurred by now that women will
outnumber men 50:1 as the Prophet PBUH prophecied. They will beseech God for help
22) Jesus the son of Mary will then descend from Heaven during morning prayers in Damascus
23) Jesus will then pursue the Antichrist and kill him outside Jerusalem . The Jews will
then be killed for having supported the Antichrist
24) The Imam Mahdi will either die then or acquiesce rulership to Jesus
25) Jesus will then take over the rulership of the world and establish Islam as the only
religion. Jesus and the muslims will perform the funeral prayers of the Imam Mahdi
26) The reign of Peace - the Kingdom of God will have been finally established!!
27) Jesus will rule for 40 years and will be married for 19 years and beget children
28) Jesus will die and be buried in Medina next to the Prophet PBUH
29) Then the souls of the believers will be lifted to Heaven
30) The World will descend into chaos due to evil
31) After a short but indeterminate period of time the Day of Judgment will come and as
the Prophet PBUH said "The Day of Judgment will come on the worst of people"
32) Then the resurrection of all past deads and their sending to heaven or hell !!
The above are only one of various possible sequences of events but this made more sense to me. The events that will occur though are all true. There might be a different sequence though - and God alone knows what will happen exactly
No one can give the precise year that the Imam will emerge. It may be next year, or it may be 30 years or more from now. I want to reemphasise that I am NOT giving a time for all these things. Only God knows that. What is clear however is that the world cannot go on for much longer at the current pace. The destruction of the environment, the increasing levels of genetic tampering with creation, the ever increasing advances in weapons of mass destruction.....there is a limit to all of this before the Creator intervenes to redeem mankind.
