Welcome to the page of PIECES

PIECES is a program to play the traditional Tangram, game of Chinese origin. It consists on constructing shapes with some polygonal pieces. Traditionally the game has seven pieces, but there are also variations with 5,14 pieces and others.

The program PIECES allows you:

To play the tangram in 18 different modalities.
To create your own shapes.
To elaborate more that 3000 shapes proposed by the program.

To preserve your personal records.

Java version	JPeces (1,4 Mb)	Extract the zip file and executes the JPeces.jar file. The Java virtual machina is required
Applet	Play the applet version hear.	The applet is a reduced version of the program.
Windows version	WPeces (1,0 Mb)	Run the WPecesSetup.exe file
GNU/Linux version	Debian package (1,8 Mb)	Install the program with your distribution package manager.
	rpm package (1,8 Mb)	Install the program with your distribution package manager.
	Universal installer for GNU/Linux (3 Mb)	Run the GLPeces-3.0-Linux-x86-Install file
	Binari package (1,8 Mb)	Extract the compress file and run the GLPeces file.
