This system allows you the option to customize the ride height of your vehicle. Unlike other spring kits that require removal of the strut assembly, the unique design of the Ground Control kit allows for quick, easy adjustment. Simply lift the corner(s) to be adjusted and spin the adjuster up or down to raise or lower the vehicle. Ground Control spring kits are designed to be used with either stock or aftermarket shocks.
Springs: All our ride height adjustable kits feature Eibach Springs. these high quality springs offer a lifetime warranty against any defects.
Adjusters: All adjusters consist of a threaded sleeve and adjustable spring seat and are made using 6061 aluminum, anodized for greater durability and appearance.
All other adapter hardware is machined from the same high strength 6061 T-6 aluminum

RPS Clutch GP FAQ
| Question : | Answer : |
| What does this come with? I assume we keep the stock flywheel, but how about the other parts (disk obviously, pressure plate, ???) | The RPS units come with the Disc and Pressure plate. New Throw out bearings should be installed with the new clutch a(also the pilot bushing if necessary).Yes, you keep the stock flywheel and turn it if necessary |
| What disc would be good for my non-turbo Stealth (2WD) ? | The carbon claw would be a good clutch
for the N/T cars. The turbo clutch and the Turbo clutch
carbon are also available for the N/T. Yes, all three of
thes are better than stock. The first stage (carbon claw)
is good for up to 100 HP over stock. The carbon claw
consists of a carbonite disc and medium duty pressure
plate. The turbo clutch consists of an OE disc and heavy
duty pressure plate. The turbo clutch carbon consists of
the turbo clutch heavy duty pressure plate and a full face carbon fiber disc. |
| What materials are the RPS clutches made of ? | The carbon claw consists of a carbonite
disc and medium duty pressure plate. The turbo clutch consists of an OE disc and heavy duty pressure plate. The turbo clutch carbon consists of the turbo clutch heavy duty pressure plate and a full face carbon fiber disc. |
| What are the shipping costs ? | Of course, this depends on your location as the parts will be shipped from either Accellerated Accessoires or RPS themselfes. |
| Will we eventually send checks or money orders or what? And to whom? | Our contact is Accelerated Accessories and the payments will go to them. They take Visa and Mastercard or prepaid by check or money order. This is the preferred payment method since it will allow direct shipping from RPS. They can ship COD but it will take 1 week extra and cost extra for the double shipping and COD charge. |
| Hey Roger, should i burn up the centerforce so I can get one of these.:) | Sure, the more people we can get the better the price for all of us, hehe. Why not getting one for later use ? |
| What is the holding power over stock ? | Stage 1 (Carbon Claw) is for applications up to 100hp over stock. I therefore would not take it for our tuned VR4s. Jack T. was able to run into the 10s with the Turbo Clutch (Stage 2) on a car with around 625hp (gulp). It did occassionally slip but recovered back to good ! He was told by RPS that the new Turbo Carbon (Stage 3) clutch holds up to 125hp more with the same pedal effort (same pressure plate). |
| What is the expected life ? | This highly depends on how you drive the
car and how much 1/4 miles you're doing a day. I heard
not any bad things about life and expect definitively more than the stock one (hey, I already toasted at least two of them !) |
| I think I read in turbo magazine the carbon clutch will not glaze? | I'm not sure about this but I also never heard of glacing Carbon :) |
| Any other goodies/info you can think of. | The clutch pedal effort should not be higher than with the stock one but the Turbo Carbon will probably be the hardest one ! As far as I know this is the only performance clutch that is light, holds power, recovers after hard use and is still driveable in traffic. That's why I've choosen it and I can't wait till I get it :) |
| What years and models are covered ? | Every year and every Stealth/3000GT. You choose the appropriate clutch to your baby :) |
| What is the pedal effort compared to stock ? | The Carbon Claw is about the same while the Turbo Clutch and Turbo Cluthc Carbon have another pressure plate and therefore need more pedal effort. |
| Does RPS offer a lighter flywheel as well? Any idea of the stock weight/material? | No, RPS does not make a flywheel for our
cars. However, there seems to be a far superior to any other flywheel on the market. The Mueller Billet Aluminum Flywheel! This thing is very light, weighing in at 13lbs (custom11&12 lb units avail.) Compared to the stock 25lb+ flywheel. It is a one piece design that is made by mueller fabricators in CA. We can get these for the TT and the NT cars at $560TT and $550NT. Prices may vary depending on the quantity. Let me know. Check them out at: www.muellerfabricators.com |
