ZIL-4906 is a special off-road vehicle. It's in use by Ministry on exceeding situations (so called EMERCOM). 6WD, 4WS (front and rear wheels are steered). It has air conditioner, plastic body, tyres with controlled pressure. Engine: V8 gasoline (carburetor), ohv, displacement 5,969 cc (bore 3.94", stroke 3.74"), compression ratio 6.5:1. Power 150 hp @ 3,200 rpm. Torque 296 ft.-lb. @ 1,800-2,000 rpm.
There's cargo variant called ZIL-49061.
