2007 is upon us and it's time to talk rally!

Last month we announced the 2007 G-rally dates (May 31 through June 3) and now it's time to announce the rally site.

This year's Spring rally will be held at the Station's Inn Motorcycle Resort located in Laurel Springs, North Carolina, on NC Highway 18 at the intersection with the Blue Ridge Parkway (at milepost 248). The Inn is in beautiful Alleghany County, NC close to the Virginia and Tennessee borders and is in the center of some of the best motorcycle roads in the USA.

Station's Inn itself is a very cool and charismatic 1950's era motor lodge with the main building housing a 17-room motel (7 1st-floor rooms, and 10 2nd-floor rooms), a nice restaurant with a bar (15 kinds of beer available!) and a country store stocked with all kinds of biker supplies. A 13-room addition (all first floor) is being completed across the street next to a large paved parking area and is about 200 feet from the main bldg. All the rooms have 2 double beds, a TV and have heating/air cond and are extremely clean. The 2007 rates which include all taxes and fees are US$65/Thursday and US$75/Friday & Saturday for 2 riders per room. Additional guests are US$10/nite per guest. Further upgrades are also being planned such as a campground and increased outside dining area.

Michael Schweitzer, the owner and a fellow biker, has agreed to hold all 30 rooms for our G-men group. To reserve a room, call their toll free number (1-877-528-7356), tell them you are "with the G-men" and use a credit card to hold your room. Your credit card sill not be charged until you check out. Any rooms not reserved and held with a credit card by April 30th will be released to the general public. Reserved rooms can be cancelled by May 19th without a penalty.

We rode down to the Station's Inn in late Dec to personally check it out and came away very impressed with the facility and the owner (and so will you!). Their website is currently being revised for all the changes being made, but you can check out their 2006 website at: http://www.StationsInn.com

Stay tuned for further details and see ya'll at the rally!

2007 G-Rally Tee Shirt Order Time is here

With the big G-rally only 11 weeks away, it's time to get in your order for the "official" 2007 G-Rally tee shirt.

This year's shirt will be a heavy duty Russell Athletic NuBlend 50/50 SHORT SLEEVE tee and will be color coordinated to most of our G bikes in a super nice G maroon color with white graphics. This tee is Russell's best seller with better color adhension and less shrinkage tha a 100% cotton tee. They are also double stitched at the collar and have
hemmed sleeves and bottoms. A very nice tee!

The cost is $15 for a Med thru XL (and $16 for a 2XL) with a $4 additional charge if you want it shipped. I need to have all orders in by April 25th to meet the order deadline.

Send your order & check/money order to:

John Berry
14416 Micawber Way
Louisville, Ky 40245

(If you want to PayPal your payment, add $1 to the above amounts)

April 25th is only about 6 1/2 weeks away so don't delay in geting your orders in to me. Even if you can't make the G-Rally, you can still buy and proudly wear an "official" 2007 rally tee shirt and ride with us in spirit!

I need to get a minimum of 30 tee shirt orders to make this do-able and to cover the fixed costs so let me hear from ya'll as soon as possible. OK guys 'n gals with all that said, who wants a G-Rally tee?

Long live the Mighty G, KyJohn
