Jim's Project Turq
Project Turq (named for the
current color) is a stock 68 Bronco HalfCab. Jim bought it in June of 97 from a guy in the
Farmington MN area. Turq has a 170 cubic inch six with a non-working three speed on the
column.
Jim has plans for a full frame off restoration. Upgrades
to include a 289 CI V-8, possibly an automatic transmission, and power steering.
The body needs floor pans. rocker panels, both door
hinge posts, and inner fender walls.
Jim started removing the body on the 14th of March
1998, and by working on weekends over the summer, hopes to have
the removal completed, and the frame and drivetrain work completed by October so he can
work the bodywork over
the long MN winter.
