Buell Motorcycles

This awesome bike is my second Buell. I believe I will always have at least one Buell in my garage - they are that fun! (If you haven't yet ridden one - DO IT! Go to your local BUELL dealer and test RIDE one TODAY!!!) This custom one-of-a-kind Buell started life as a '96 S1 Lightning. It has a Thunderstormed Engine and the Buell Race kit(ignition module, jet kit, pipe)installed. The bike also has polished PM wheels, Graves clip-ons, and Harley VR1000 bodywork by AirTech; HD Racing Orange on the right side, Black on the left. The tank is signed by Mr. Erik Buell himself, and the tail cowl is signed by Shawn Higbee. This bike is gorgous! (And pretty quick, too!) There is also a complete set of S1W plastic, handlebars, mirrors, etc. for it. I sold it to start another Buell project!!

I thought about heavily modifying a Harley Sportster for some time now. I guess I always thought it would be cool to smoke a Ninja with a 'Hog'! I looked at the cost of such an undertaking, and decided to get a Buell instead. The '98 Buell S1 White Lightning is a great place to start a hot-rod project. In stock form, it has a claimed 101 HP at the crank! Not bad for a 'Harley'.

White Lightning!

This was my first Buell, and I loved it dearly! Stock it was sweet, but, of course, I had to modify it! Vance&Hines SS2R exhaust, Force Sidewinder w/K&N intake, Dynojet 'Thunderslide' jet-kit, and some cosmetic improvements (license plate re-located under seat/tail, re-cut rear fender.) I crashed it in Feb.'99 after part of the road I was shredding disappeared! Ouch!
