My Thing

These images are typically about 600 by 420 in size. Large and slow to load. I posted them primarily for people who want to see the details inside or behind something so I made them large for better viewing.

View of the stock engine just before I started building the new engine. Jan. 1988. You can see the stock Avocado color in the engine compartment, PO didn't bother painting it. As I bought it, stock, except for the missing EGR valve/pipe/filter.

Slightly different view of the stock engine. Jan. 1988.

Me doing preliminary value adjustment. Assembled long block on homemade engine stand.

View of Berg head before I installed the elephant foot adjusters on the Berg heavy duty rocker shaft. You can also see the full flow adapter tapped in the case and the Berg 1.5 qt. oil sump mounted.

Starting to test mount the carbs. See one Berg 42 special carb and manifold mounted. Also 009 dist., Berg Achiever weighted pulley, stock bus type fuel pump.

Jump forward to July 1996. View of the front trunk with the gas tank removed. I was rebuilding the front end.

View thru the drivers front wheel well, has the front beam removed.
