Coffee regional
E.M.S. is located in Douglas Georgia approx 60 miles east of Valdostaserves
a
community of approx 30,000 to 40,000 people
in coffee county and is in region 9 has three full time A.L.S.(advanced
life support) ambulances located in three stations around the county has
approx,
25 to 30 medics on staff with 6 on duty medics per shift that handle
approx. 300 to 400 calls a month and is dispatched by coffee county
911 system
what if you need an ambulance
are you prepared to make the call First try to
have good description of your location far as address and or road name
highway etc. if
at home try to have house numbers in front of house in large numbers easy
to view from road give
description of your house far as color of house or mobile home if have
cross road name please advise 911 its name also to help pinpoint
your location better the more
information you can give the better be calm and clear with information
and listen to 911 dispatcher
for any questions they may have for as condition of patient and don't jest
hang up after a brief moment
