Welcome to my Midi page, currently I only have Midi's that I feel are worth listening to. A lot of the files out on the net are crap, these are the one that seem to be done with some quality. The grades are reflective of the midi themselves not the original works done by the composers.

Title Composer Grade Notes
Alien Jerry Goldsmith B Not bad
Batman Danny Elfman C A bit to electronic
Blade Runner Vangelis B- Pretty good for an already synthesized theme
Blackhole John Barry B Again a good attempt at an already electronic theme.
James Bond Music by Monty Norman Orchestrations by John Barry B+ One of the better done midi interpretations on the net.
Braveheart James Horner C- Doesn't really reflect the emotion of Horner's orginal
Chariots of Fire Vangelis B Another electronic version of an electronic song
The Crow NIN C+ This is on the soundtrack not the score
Dances with Wolves (Finale) John Barry A- One of the nicer midi's out there
Dances with Wolves (John Bunbar Theme) John Barry C+ I don't remember any drums sets being featured in any songs in the movie
Deliverance (Dueling Banjos) Eric Weissberg C- Too electronic sounding
Dune (Take My Hand) Toto A- Another very good version
E.T. (Flying Theme) John Williams B- Not too bad, but a big file
Fletch Harold Faltermeyer B Electronic version of an electronic song
Forrest Gump Alan Sylvestri C+ Again, not too bad
Independence Day David Arnold C+ Same as above
Jaws John Williams B- One of the better midi's
JFK John Williams C Not that great
Jurassic Park John Williams C+ Ehh, Ok
Legends Of The Fall James Horner B+ Almost entirely piano, so you can't go wrong
Mission Impossible Remade by Bono and Edge A- Impressive version of the movie theme
Mr. Hollands Opus (An American Symphony) Michael Kamen C I was hoping for more with this one
Raiders of the Lost Ark John Williams C Also less than what I was hoping for
Robin Hood (Prince of Thieves) Michael Kamen C Starts out well enough but then goes downhill
Rocky (Gonna Fly Now) Bill Conti A One of the single best midi conversions out there
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan James Horner B+ Nicely done
Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country Cliff Eidelman B Another well done StarTrek midi, these are the only two movie themes I like (the TV ones are pretty good as well)
Star Wars (Cantina Band) John Willimas B Pretty good considering...
Star Wars (MainTheme) John Williams B- Not too bad, there are worse versions out there
Star Wars (Finale) John Williams B- This ones is pretty good as well
Empire Strikes Back (Finale) John Williams B This one surprised me
Return of the Jedi: Special Edition (Celebration Theme) John Williams B I was pleasantly surprised by this version
Star Wars (Medley) John Williams C+ OK, but some of ther seperate versions are better
Superman John Williams B- Again another well thought out version
Superman (Krypton) John Williams B Nicely done
Terminator 2: Judgement Day Brad Fiedel B+ I've heard several versions of this one, from Terminator to Terminator 2, this is the best
Titanic James Horner B The Celine Dion Song
Titanic (The Love Theme) James Horner B- Not too bad (see Braveheart)
TopGun Harold Faltermeyer D Sounds OK at first, but then goes to crap. This is the worst movie midi I have on this page
X-Files Mark Snow A+ Wow, I thought this was a .wav file when I first heard it. Normally wouldn't be in here, but since the X-Files movie comes out this summer...
