The press information for No Looking Back describes the film this way:

Claudia, a 28 year old waitress can't commit to her sweet boyfriend Michael who wants to get married and have a family. Claudia's inability to commit to Michael is further complicated when Charlie, her old flame comes back to town. A story about love, life and family.... and one woman's struggle to find a life of her own.

About the Film

No Looking Back stars Lauren Holly as a waitress whose life is thrown into turmoil when her ex-boyfriend comes back to town. The cast also includes Jon Bon Jovi, Blythe Danner, Connie Britton (The Brothers McMullen) and - of course - Edward Burns.

Although Fox Searchlight released Ed's first two films, the new one is distributed by Gramercy Pictures. According to Premiere magazine, Fox Searchlight balked at Ed's projected $10 million budget, so he took it to another studio and eventually cut the budget in half. For those of you unfamiliar with studios, Gramercy puts out independent movies such as Fargo, Four Weddings and a Funeral, and Kevin Smith's Mallrats.

There is no official web site for No Looking Back.

The March 1998 issue of BUZZ magazine has a small review of the film:

"Edward Burns's The Brothers McMullen wasn't as miraculous as the critics said it was, and his sophomore effort, She's the One, wasn't as dreadful. Whatever; his latest, No Looking Back, is his best film so far. A waitress (Lauren Holly) considers dumping her adoring boyfriend (the suddenly ubiquitous Jon Bon Jovi) to resume an affair with an old lover (Burns), who is a jerk. The big surprise here is Holly, who is definitely worth fighting over."
