Genre: Western
Director: Edwin Sherin
The players: Burt Lancaster
Susan Clark

About the film: Lancaster plays a sheriff who has the courage to confront a powerful villain. Dull, colorless western which shows nothing that hasn’t been shown countless times before.

Title: VIEW TO A KILL, A
Year: 1985
Genre: Action
Director: John Glen
The players: Roger Moore
Christopher Walken
Tanya Roberts
Grace Jones
Patrick Bauchau
About the film: One of the weakest Bond-movies. Everyone seem pretty weary. Moore is 57 and it shows in the few action-sequences which he’s involved in. To see him kick down a pack of ninjas is laughable. Walken doesn’t seem interested at all, he makes a feeble impression, one of the saddest vallains in the series. At least the movie could have been short but the film goes on for over 2 hrs. Moore’s last Bond-outing.

Title: VOLUNTEERS
Year: 1985
Genre: Comedy
Director: Nicholas Meyer
The players: Tom Hanks
John Candy
Rita Wilson
Tim Thomerson
Gedde Watanabe
About the film: Pathetic parody on war-films like The bridge on the river Kwai. Hanks goes to Viet Nam where he has to help building a bridge. The jokes are few and far between and really stinks.
