"Uncle" Harry Darby Huntington's arrival to the

Cowlitz River Valley

Huntington Family Centennial Pioneer Picnic

This photo was taken by my uncle, Irving N. Huntington; Route2, Box 378; Kelso, Washington on August 14, 1949 at Lake Sacajawea Park (20th and Kessler Blvd.) in Longview, Washington. In the original photo, you can see that the picture was taken from the far side of the river bank.

I've enlarged and enhanced the above photo, splitting it into 4 pieces so you can hope to recognize faces. Please help me identify people in this photo!

In the photo, my mom - Flora Jane (Huntington) Stillmaker (b. Jun 1923) is holding my oldest brother Jim (b. May 1948). They are standing near the left edge of the photo. The only other people in the photo that I can identify with any accuracy are my father Wesley Stillmaker (b. Jan 1912) who is second from the left edge in a white shirt and tie, and my mom's dad, Irving Stevens Huntington (b. Mar 1886) the balding man immediately to my dad's left (behind the woman wearing a hat). My mom is immediately to her father's left. There is a woman peeking out from behind my brother's shoulder, and I think that's my maternal grandmother, Ava Grace (Hibbard) Huntington (b. Dec 1886).
