Welcome to
Baynors
from Beaufort County

I was born and lived in the Long Acres section of
Beaufort co, North Carolina until I was six years old.
I was the oldest daughter of Howard E. Baynor and Ida
Virginia Skittlethorpe. I was six when I was adopted
by a family in Williamston, N.C. and my sister was
adopted by a family from Washington, N.C. I always knew
who my birth parents were, so I decided to do a family
search on the Baynors. Never did I realize that this
venture would put me in touch with so much of my family,
many whom I have meet over the internet, nor did I
realize the many surnames in my family tree. First I
decided to start with my birth name " Baynor", that
lead me to " Dunbar", which has lead me to names such as
Respess, Skittlethorpe, Bowen and so many more. In fact,
too many to count or name. I thought that I would just list
my linage.
