Hi! And welcome to Nancy's Little Cob-Web!
I "live" at Heartland Hills 9196 (but have been relegated to a
link away by
PEZimaniac's Strand of the Web) in
a free web community. Previously, I lived at Cornerstone Cottages which was also a free web community (whose landlord was
Cheryl).
You can see where I went to
college,
where I
work,
where I
live
in "real life".

Music
I like lots of different kinds
of music. I sing in the St.
Luke's United Methodist church Chancel (adult) choir and ring
English handbells and choirchimes in the Memorial Handbell
choir. For instrumental music I like brass, marches, and
hammered dulcimer.
The Canadian Brass
is a great group! And
John McCutcheon
is the best solo performer I have ever seen. For vocal
music, I like several Christian singers; right now my favorite
is Acappella. Barbershop harmony is another kind of a capella
music that I like. Here are links to
SPEBSQSA (men's) and
Sweet Adelines
International (women's) organizational pages. I'll add
links to Harmony Incorporated (women's)
page when I find it and the Wichita
chapter of SPEBSQSA and the Air Capital Chorus when they get
one.

Christianity
If you visited my music room, you may have figured out that I
am Christian. I am a member of St. Luke's
United Methodist Church,
which is in
Wichita,
Kansas, USA. I am also a member of the Bread of Life
Emmaus
community in central and western Kansas. There are
a lot of really good Christian resources on
the 'net. Some of my favorites are:

Computer Stuff
I work with computers all day so occasionally I get tired of them and don't even want to play. Here are some computer references that I've found.

Science
A really cool thing I did right after high school was attend
the
National Youth
Science Camp in West Virginia. One of my fellow campers
has created a web page for
our year. There is an alumni association, too. Of course, there are lots of really great science things on the WWW, such as
NASA and the
weather.
Two people who are very important to me are fighting cancer
right now, so I've been reading and surfing a lot. I have also started donating platelets to the American Red Cross. Because of chemotherapy and radiation treatments, cancer patients often need platelets and other blood products. My
Blood and Marrow Transplant page is a journal of my apheresis donations. I will be adding more information to it in the future. Here are some of the cancer resources that I've found on the web:
