Norwegian music - MIDI files
It is hard to find something new to offer on the net. Playing around with HTML design I decided to combine my interest for Norwegian music with my genealogy. We try to learn as much as possible about the way our ancestors lived. Why not also try to learn something about the music they sang or danced to? On this page I plan to presents some of the old traditional Norwegian music that was used in Norway. Some of the music is still alive and is used on different occasions.I also present some newer work kept in a traditional form
The music is presented as MIDI files. If you run Windows, and have a soundcard in your computer you should be able to hear the recordings.
