G7 ENCRYPTION CODES

LETTER OF INTRODUCTION

Several recent books (The bible Code by Michael Dresnin & Theomantics by Jerry Lucas) have proven beyond a reasonable doubt that the Bible contains numeric encryption's. "The Code", as it has, come to be known, was introduced to the United Nations by Dr. Richard Hoagland in 1992. Dr. Hoagland's landmark research validated in it's totality, the earlier works of Archaeocryptographer Carl Munck.

Some months ago I was approached by one of Mr. Munck's associates regarding computer software to be programmed to further these studies. This numeric Biblical encryption was extensively explored at the turn of the century by such scholars as E.W. Bullinger D.D., Curate of the Anglican Bermondsley Abbey Church, London; and Harvard educated Russian immigrant Ivan Panin.

As a born-again Christian, seeking truth and understanding, I have seen and programmed enough of this material to acknowledge there is something profound at work therein. This encryption, if this is what it is, needs to be explored. To do so, I need help. What needs to be established is a net of computer savvy Christians who have the belief, time and money to help in this endeavor.

For a book with a Chapter entitled Numbers, it is hard to understand why spiritual and historical investigators have chosen to ignore them. Numbers convey thoughts, they are not just counts as we have been taught to believe. Let me give you an example. 176 is a meaningless number , unless one knows how to use it. When halved, it becomes the planet Mercury's periodic rotation around the Sun, 88 days. When multiplied by three 176 becomes 528, the number of twelve inch feet in a statute mile. In Genesis 6 vs.. 15 Noah is instructed to construct an Ark, 300 cubits by 50 cubits by 30 cubits. Now 300 times 50 times 30 equals 45,000 which, when as multiplied by 176 equals 7,9200,000. Classical scholars set the Earth's diameter to be 7,920 miles. Sheer happenstance cries the de-bunker. Perhaps, but what if it were intentional?

In Revelation Chapter 9 we find ten numbers; 5, 2, 6, 4, 6, 4, 3, 20, 3, 3. Their product, 31104, when divided by Pi.(3.1416) equals the number, 97716.0979, the Longitude of Warm Mineral Springs, Florida.

In Revelation Chapter 12 there are five numbers; 12, 24, 3, 1296, and 2, which when multiplied together total 217728. 217728 also equals 81 times 2268 or; 92 times the Ninevah Constant; the number of years it takes our Solar System to revolve around our Galaxies center. Impressive number manipulation in a book of spirituality!

John 21 vs. 11 will be our final exhibit, but hundreds of others are available.

In the Gospel according to John (21 vs. 11), Jesus and his disciples return from a successful fishing trip on the Sea of Tiberias. When they haul in the catch, they find 153 fish in the net: "Simon Peter went up ,and drew the net to land full of great fishes, a hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken." What is so special arithmetically about the number 153?

To begin with, 153 equals 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12+13+14+15+16+17. In other words, it is equal to the sum of all the integers from one to seventeen. This makes 153 what the Pythagorians called a triangular number. The Pythagoreans promoted the idea of representing numbers by dots arranged in patterns. For a triangular number the pattern of dots forms a triangle all of whose sides have an equal number of dots.

But there is more to the magic of 153. It can be expressed in another fundamental way: 153=1+(1x2)+(1x2x3)+(1x2x3x4)+(1x2x3x4x5). Contemporary arithmaticians would write this equation more economically: 1!+2!+3!+4!+5!. When a number is followed by an exclamation point you are supposed to take the product of all the integers from 1 to the number itself. This operation is called taking the factorial of the number.

Now my immediate response when first approached with this information was; this is happenstance. To satisfy my own curiosity , however, I programmed several of the algorhythms. They work?

What a Testament to our faith, for the numbers shout it out, There is but One God.

GEMATRIA

The Fifth century BC trading empire of the Eastern Mediterranean-Phoenicians saw the appearance of a writing mode in which alphabetical letters served as numbers. Even at his early date, however, its roots were lost in the mists of time. From this base evolved the Greek and later Hebraic systems of Gematria. Both had reached a high degree of development by the Third Century BC.

These alphanumeric alphabets exhibit qualities and interrelationships for which there is no logical intention. Yet an entire symbolic teaching evolved around them which incorporated the principles of number, form, sound, and astronomy. Only number combinations and figures could be utilized to express this knowledge. Today we view number as merely an expression of quantity. To the Ancients, however, every number had its own character and identity, a place in an arithmetic chain that leads from one dimension of understanding to another.

Now this extraordinary system of arithmetic, or concealed Geometry, formed the link between the languages of literature and mathematics. With this knowledge, ancient literature, metrology, and sacred geometry can be viewed with new eyes. With number alphabetical cryptography becomes the law. Biblical numbers and structure dimensions become alphabetical statements. The Word (numbers) becomes Flesh (dimensional) for numbers are words.

The ancient science overview reveals the allegorical reoccurrence of the same numbers, the most repetitive 3168. In Gematria, 3168 equals Lord Jesus Christ; Kvpios Inoous Xpiotos the generator of all measure for 31,680 inches equal one half mile and 31,680 feet equal six miles. There are also 3 1,680 furlongs in the Earth's radius and 31,680 feet in the perimeter of Ezekiel's City. Ezekiel 45 vs.. 1& 48 vs.. 8. 3168 divided by 5 equals 6336 the number of inches in a classical yard containing 3 cubits of 1.76 feet. 1.76 feet times three gives a yard of 5.28 feet, also the number of feet in a statute mile. Water solidifies at 31.68o F and 316.8 feet is the mean circumference of the Stonehenge Sarsen circle. Tradition gives the Sun's circumference as 99525655 megalithic miles. 99525655/3168=3.1415926 (Pi) 50Pi x 6336 = 99525655 The early church fathers were well aware of this cryptography for it is found throughout the Bible. In I Cor. vs.. 13 the faithful are told here they may acquire knowledge and study the mysteries. Geometrical totals affirm this in John 8 vs.. 47. and I Cor 12 vs.. 14. The first 17 verses of Matthew's Gospel contain the genealogy of the Christ. It consists of two main parts: Verses 1-11 cover the period from Abraham, the father of the chosen people. Verses 12-17 cover the period from the Captivity to the promised Deliverer, the Christ. Let us examine the first part of this genealogy. Its vocabulary in Greek has 49 words, or 7x7. This number is itself seven (Feature 1) sevens (Feature 2), and the sum of its factors is 2 sevens (Feature 3). Of these 49 words 28, or 4 sevens, begin with a vowel; and 21, or 3 sevens, begin with a consonant (Feature 4). Again: these 49 words of the vocabulary have 266 letters, or 7 x 2 x19; this number is itself 38 sevens (Feature 6), while the sum of its figures is 14, or 2 sevens (Feature 7). Of these 266 letters, moreover, 120, or 20 sevens, are vowels, and 126, or 18 sevens, are consonants (Feature 8). That is to say: Just as the number of words in the vocabulary is a multiple of seven, so is the number of its letters a multiple of seven; just as the sum of the factors of the number of the words is a multiple of seven, so is the sum of the factors of the number of their letters a multiple of seven. And just as the number of words is divided between vowel words and consonant words by seven, so is their number of letters divided between vowels and consonants by sevens. Again: Of these 49 words '35, or 5 sevens, occur more than once in the passage; and 14, or 2 sevens, occur but once (Feature 9); seven occur in more than one form, and 42, or 6 sevens, occur in only one form (Feature 10). And among the parts of speech the 49 words are thus divided: 42, or 6 sevens, are nouns, seven are not nouns (Feature 11). Of the nouns 35, or 5 sevens, are Proper names, seven are common nouns (Feature 12). Of the Proper names 28 are male ancestors of the Christ, and seven are not (Feature 13). Moreover, these 49 words are distributed alphabetically thus: Words under (XXX) are 21 in number, or 3 sevens;(XXX) 14, or 2 sevens; (XXX) also 14. No other groups of sevens stopping at the end of a letter are made by these 49 words, the groups of sevens stop with these letters and no others. But the letters (XXX) are letters 1,5,6,10, 12, 22, of the Greek alphabet, and the sum of these numbers (called their Place Values) is 56, or 8 sevens (Feature 14). This enumeration of the numeric phenomena of these 11. verses does not begin to be exhaustive, but enough has been shown to make it clear that this part of the genealogy is constructed on an elaborate design of sevens. Let us now turn to the genealogy as a whole. I will not weary you with recounting all the numeric phenomena thereof: pages alone would exhaust them. I will point out only one feature: The New Testament is written in Greek. The Greeks had no separate symbols for expressing numbers, corresponding to our Arabic figures, but used instead letters of their alphabet: just as the Hebrews, in whose tongue the Old Testament is written, made use for the same purpose of theirs. Accordingly, the 24 Greek letters stand for the following numbers: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800. Every Greek word is thus a sum in arithmetic obtained by adding the numbers for which its letters stand, or their numeric values. Now the vocabulary to the entire genealogy has 72 words. If we write its numeric values over each of these 72 words, and add them, we get for their sum 42,364, or 6,0652 sevens, distributed into the following alphabetical groups only: (XXX) have 9,821, or 1,403 sevens: (XXX) 1904, or 272 sevens; (XXX) 3,703, or 529 sevens; (XXX), 19,264, or 2,752 sevens; (XXX) 7,672, or 1,096 sevens. But the numeric value of the 10 letters used for making these groups is 931, or 7 x 7 x 19, a multiple not only of seven but of seven sevens. 2. The second part of this chapter, verses 1825, relates the birth of the Christ. It consists of 161 words, or 23 sevens; occurring in 105 forms, or 15 sevens, with a vocabulary of 77 words or 11 sevens. Joseph is spoken to here by the angel. Accordingly, of the 77 words the angel uses 28, or 4 sevens; of the 105 forms he uses 35, or 5 sevens; the numeric value of the vocabulary is 52,605, or 7,515 sevens; of the forms, 65,429, or 9,347 sevens. The enumeration only begins as it were to barely scratch the surface of the numeric of this passage. But what is specially noteworthy here is the fact that the angel's speech has also a scheme of sevens making ita kind of ring within a ring, a wheel within a wheel. 3. The second chapter of Matthew tells of the childhood of the Christ. Its vocabulary has 161 words, or 23 sevens, with 896 letters, or 128 sevens, and 238 forms, or 34 sevens; the numeric value of the vocabulary is 123,529, or 17, 647 sevens; of the forms, 166,985, or 23,855 sevens; and so on through pages of enumeration. This chapter has at least four logical divisions, and each division shows alone the same phenomena divisions, and each division shows alone the same phenomena found in the chapter as a whole. Thus, the first six verses have a vocabulary of 56 words, or 8 sevens, etc. There are some speeches here: Herod speaks, the Magi speak, the angel speaks. But so pronounced are the numeric phenomena here, that though there are as it were numerous rings within rings, and wheels within wheels, each is perfect in itself, though forming all the while only part of the rest. 4. There is not, however, a single paragraph of the scores in Matthew that is not constructed in exactly the same manner. Only with each additional paragraph the difficulty of constructing it increases not in arithmetical but in geometrical progression. For he contrives to write his paragraphs so as to develop constantly fixed numeric relations to what goes before and after. Thus in his last chapter he contrives to use just 7 words not used by him before. We thus have a miracle, an unheard of literary achievement in step with mathematical design unequaled, hardly even conceivable. A second fact is yet more important: In his very first section, the genealogy discussed above, the words found nowhere else in the New Testament, occur 42 times, 7 x 6; and have 126 letters, 7 x 6 x 3, each number a multiple not only of seven, but of 6 sevens, to name only two of the many numeric features of these words. But how did Matthew know, when designing this scheme for these words (whose sole characteristic is that they are found nowhere else in the New Testament) that they would not be found in the other 26 books? that they would not be used by the other 7 New Testament writers? Unless we assume the impossible hypothesis that he had an agreement with them to that effect, he must have had the rest of the New Testament before him when he wrote his book. Are we to assume then that the Gospel of Matthew was written last? 5. It so happens, however, that the Gospel of Mark shows the very same phenomena. Thus the very passage called a "forgery" the Last Twelve Verses of Mark, presents among some sixty features of sevens the following phenomena: It has 175 words, or 25 sevens, a vocabulary of 98 words, or 2 sevens of sevens with 553 letters, or 79 sevens; 133 forms, or 19 sevens, and so on to the finest detail. . The Gospel of Mark, then, is another miracle, another unparalleled literary achievement, for in the same way in which it could be argued that Matthew wrote last, it could be maintained that Mark, too, wrote last. Thus to take an example from this very passage: It has just one word found nowhere else in the New Testament, (XXX), deadly. This fact is signaled by no less than seven features of sevens thus: Its numeric value is 581, or 83 sevens, with the sum of its figures 14, or 2 sevens, of which the letters 3,5,7,9 from the BEGINNING of the word have 490, or 7 x7 x 5 x 2: a multiple of seven sevens, with the sum of its factors 21, or 3 sevens. In the vocabulary it is preceded by 42 words, 7x6; in the passage itself by 126 words, or 7 x 6 x 3, both numbers multiples not only of seven, but of 6 sevens. We have thus established before us this third fact for us to contemplate: How could Matthew surely write after Mark, and Mark just as surely write after Matthew? 6. It happens, however; to be a fourth fact, that Luke presents the same phenomena as Matthew and Mark, and so does John, and James, and Peter, and Jude, and Paul. And we have thus no longer two great unheard-of mathematical literati, but eight of them and each of them requiring to know in advance what the others had written. 7. And not only this: As Luke and Peter wrote each 2 books, John 5, and Paul 14, it can in the same way be shown that each of the 27 New Testament books was written last, in order to begin to account for these phoneme on human grounds. In fact, not a page of the over 500 in Westcott and Hort's Greek edition (which the writer has used throughout), but it can be so demonstrated. The phenomena are there and there is no human way of explaining them. Eight men cannot each write last, 27 books, some 500 pages cannot each be written last. But once assume that one Mind directed the whole, and the problem is solved simply enough; but this is Verbal Inspiration __ of every jot and title of the New Testament. There remains only to be added that by precisely the same kind of evidence the Hebrew Old Testament is proved to be equally inspired. Thus the very first verse of Genesis has seven words, 28 letters, or 4 sevens; to name only two out of the dozens of numeric features of this one verse of only seven words. Other literature, including the Apocrypha, has been tested with negative results. IVAN PANIN'S SCIENTIFIC BIBLE In 1882, a young immigrant from Russia graduated from Harvard. He was an agnostic who often lectured on atheism! But he became a Christian: A brilliant mathematician. multi-lingual scholar an literary figure. Panin began to study the scriptures as a Christian. Knowing Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek, he began to read them in the original languages. Now both Hebrew and Greek are unique in that they do not have a number system. In other words, they do not use special symbols for their numbers (like our Arabic numerals 1. 2. 3. etc.) but use instead the letters of their alphabets to represent numbers, thus each letter actually is used as a number. Aware o the numerical values of the Greek and Hebrew and Greek alphabets, Panin experimented one day by replaces the letters with their corresponding numbers. Here is Panin... a mathematical genius, a Hebrew & Greek scholar, and he loves playing with numbers. Suddenly, his trained mind saw a mathematical pattern! As he studied more intensely, his excitement grew. A few short hours of work had him utterly amazed. The verses he had studied bore unmistakable evidence of an elaborate mathematical pattern, far beyond random chance, or human ability to construct. This discovery marked the turning point in his career, and from that time until his death in 1942, he devoted his entire life to the study of Bible numerics. He showed, first of all, that the Bible, in its original language, is a skillfully designed product of a mathematical mastermind- far beyond any human possibility of deliberate structuring. He later supplied a representative of the Nobel Research Foundation with over 43,000 sheets of his studies accompanied by his statement that this was his evidence that the Bible was the Word of God. Their reply was, "As far as our investigation has proceeded... we find the evidence overwhelmingly in favor of such a statement." He then issued a challenge throughout leading newspapers of the world to offer a "natural explanation" or refute the facts: not a single person was able to do so. WHAT HE FOUND "The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace on the earth, refined seven times. "Psalm 12:6 Panin found that patterns of prime numbers such as 11.13.17 and 23. but especially 7. were found in great clusters. He would add up the sum of all numerical values for different words. sentences. paragraphs. passages, and whole books, and he found the same patterns in each of these forms! He found that the number of proper names, both male and female divides by 7. The number of words that begin with a vowel divides by 7. likewise the number of words that begin with a consonant. The number of letters in a vocabulary divides by 7. and those letters. those that are vowels and those that are vowels and those that are consonants also divide by 7. Words that occurred more than once divide by 7. and also words that appeared only once! The number of nouns is divisible by 7. also the words that are not. Even the number of words beginning with each letter of the alphabet! And on and on. . . . Panin only stayed on a passage long enough to confirm beyond reasonable doubt the statistical evidence for supernatural design. But he stated that the longer you stayed on one, it would continue to yield further and further evidences of patterns within patterns until the mind reeled! SOME EXAMPLES Here is an example from the Old Testament. Just the very first sentence in the Bible. "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Gen. 1:1) That's the way it comes out in English, in the Hebrew it is exactly 7 words. The 7 words have exactly 28(4x7) letters. There are 3 nouns (God, heavens, and earth). Taking the letters of these, substituting their number equivalents and adding them up. you get a combined total of 777 (111x7)! There is one Hebrew verb created. It's total numerical value is 203 (29x7) . The first three words contain the subject with exactly 14 (2x7) letters, likewise the other four are the object with exactly 14 letters. The Hebrew words for the two objects (heaven and earth) each have 7 letters. The value for the first, middle and last letters in the sentence is 133 (19x7). The numeric value of the first and last letters of all the words is 11393 (199x7): the value of the first and last letters of the first and last words of the verse is 497 (71x7). The value of the first and last letters of each of the words between is 896 (128x7). And so on, and so on... in this verse alone there are 30 different features of 7. Only 11 of them are listed. The chance of this happening accidentally is 1 in 33.000.000.000.000 (33 trillion).

And now an example from the New Testament: Matt. 1:1-11. The vocabulary has 49 words (7x7). 28 words begin with a vowel (4x7). the remaining 21 with a consonant (3x7). 7 end with a vowel. 42 with a consonant (6x7). The 49 words have 266 letters (38x7). Out of the 266 letters. 140 are vowels (20x7). 126 are consonants '(18x7). Also, of these 49 words. 14 occur only once (2x7). 35 occur more than once (5x7). 42 (6x7) are nouns. 7 are not. These remaining common nouns have exactly 49 letters (7x7). male names occur in all 56 times (8x7). The names of only 3 women appear in the passage, and the Greek letters of their names add up to 14 exactly! Panin said it would have taken Matthew several months: working 8 hours a day to construct the genealogy even if it were possible. But the names were chosen before Matthew was born!

ONE AUTHOR

The whole Bible is like this. This is just taking one small chunk of it and doing it in detail. Every paragraph, passage and book in the Bible can be shown to be constructed in the same marvelous way. What kind of fantastic collaboration between the disciples could have produced this structure without computers? how could mere fishermen and tax-collectors produce this kind of incredible structuring and design? What is crazy, is that Mark is a Roman, Luke a Greek, and Matthew a Jew, but they all wrote with the same pattern. Each one wrote with their own unique flavor. Mark's style is different, but the pattern is the same right through! So who wrote it. One Mind, one Author, One God, many different writers, but one Writer. Can you imagine what kind of Mind would do this and not even care if you ever found out?! These are not just words. it's an incredible mathematical pattern. It dances with its own poetry in mathematics. A computer would go into raptures over this! It's like a building where every piece joins perfectly into each other. And what is wild, is you can't pull even one word out, without damaging the whole pattern. So the Bible carries within itself, a self-checking, self-verifying protection factor. If a person comes along and says I don't like this one, the whole pattern falls apart. This cannot be found in any other religious "holy" book in the world.

Shroud of Turin

As of late the "Mystery" of the Shroud of Turin has been receiving a lot of press, most of it erroneous. Conventional wisdom begins its "authenticated" chronology in 1171 and proceeds as follows. >p>

CHRONOLOGY

1171-1203 Witnesses including William of Tyre in 1171, and Robert of Clari of the Fourth Crusade in 1203 reported seeing the Shroud in the Imperial Palace at Constantinople.

1354 The Shroud is traced to Lirey, France.

1453-1532 The Shroud is kept by the Royal family of Savoy at the castle of Chambery. Fire damages it in 1532.

1578--The Shroud begins its permanent stay at the Cathedral in Turin.

October 1980 --The 32 American scientists who studied the Shroud say the Image on the Shroud was not painted. The scientists, called the Shroud of Turin Research Group, say the cloth has too many subtle properties to be the work of a human hand. September 1981--A researcher from the U.S. group suggests in a book there is strong evidence that the Shroud was the burial cloth of Christ. Other group members disagree. 1983--King Umberto II of Italy dies bequeathing the Shroud to the Pope. October 1986 -- The Pope authorizes scientific dating tests on the Shroud. October 13, 1988 --After widespread news leaks, the Archbishop of Turin announces Shroud lab tests. Unbeknownst to most, this is not quite the entire story. A search of recorded history from a myriad of documents establishes categorically the validity of the Shroud. It is here that on the first Easter morning of the 33rd year, the momentous discovery was made: It was very early on the first day of the week, and still dark, when Mary of Magdala came to the tomb, She saw that the stone had been moved away from the tomb and came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved. They have taken the Lord out of the tomb," she said, "and we don't know where they have put him." So Peter set out with the other disciple to go to the tomb. They ran together, but the other disciple, running faster than Peter, reached the tomb first; he bent down and saw the othonia lying there, but did not go in. Simon Peter, who was following, now came up, went right into the tomb, saw the othonia lying there, and also the soudarion that had been over his head; this was not with the othonia but rolled up in a place by itself. Then the other disciple who had reached the tomb first also went in: he saw and he believed. Till this moment they had failed to understand the teaching of scripture, that he must rise from the dead. (Jn. 20:1-9.) THE EPISTLES of JESUS CHRIST and ABGARUS KING of EDESSA. [The first writer who makes any mention of the Epistles that passed between Jesus Christ and Abgarus, is Eusebius, Bishop of Cesarea, in Palestine, who flourished in the early part of the fourth century. For their genuineness, he appeals to the public registers and records of the City of Ederes in Mesopotamia, where Abgaruc reigned, and where he affirms the he found them written, in the Syriac language. He published a Greek translation of them, in his Ecclesiastical History. The learned world has been much divided on this subject, but, not with standing that the erudite Grabe, with Archbishop Cave, Dr. Parker, and other divines, have strenuously sought d for their admission into the canon of Scripture, but they are deemed apocryphal. The Rev. Jeremiah Jones observes that the common people in England have this Epistle in their houses, in many places, fixed in a frame, with the picture of Christ before it: and that they generally, with much honesty and devotion, regard it as the word of God, and the genuine Epistle of Christ.] CHAP. I. A copy of a letter written by King Abgarus to Jesus, and sent to him by Ananicas, his footman, to Jerusalem, inviting him to Edessa. ABGARUS, King of Edessa, to Jesus the good Savior, who appears at Jerusalem, Greetings. 2. I have been informed concerning you and your cures, which are performed without the use of medicines and herbs. 3. For it is reported, that you cause the blind to see the lame to walk, do both cleanse lepers, and cast out unclean spirits and devils, and restore them to health who have been long diseased, and raisest up the dead; 4. All which when I heard, I was persuaded of one of these two, viz: either that you are God himself descended from heaven, who do these things, or the son of God. 5. On this account therefore I have wrote to you earnestly to desire you would take the trouble of journey hither, and cure a disease which I am under. 6. For I hear the Jews ridicule you, and intend you mischief. 7. My city is indeed small, but neat, and large enough for us both. CHAP.II The answer of Jesus by Ananias the footman to Abgarus the King, declining to visit Edessa. ABGARUS, you are happy, forasmuch as you have believed on me, whom ye have not seen. 2. For it is written concerning me, that those who have seen me should not believe on me, that they who have not seen might believe and live. 3. As to that part of your letter, which relates to my giving you a visit I must inform you, that I must fulfill all the ends of my mission in this country, and after that be received up again to him who sent me. 4. But after my ascension I will send one of my disciples, who will cure your disease, and give life to you, and all that are with you. 57CE About this date Shroud secreted above West Gate in the city of Edessa. This was the city's highest point, protecting it from frequent floods. 325 Bishop Eusebius of Caesarea, in his History of the Church, records Abgarus the V of Edessa, having been taken ill, and hearing of the miracles of Jesus, requests Jesus come and heal him. Jesus is unable to, but he sends Thaddacus (Greek Addai) one of the 72 outer circle of Disciples described by St. Luke in Luke 10 vs.. 1. Thaddacus, entering Abgarucs throne room, the Shroud held over his head, performs a miracle. The paralyzed Abgaruc sitting on his throne, perceived a brilliant light coming from the Shroud image. So seeing, he rises and runs to meet Thaddaeus. Thusly was Edessa converted to Christianity and all pagan alters were thrown down, excepting the one in the city's center. Then the movement collapsed, and no further mention is made of the Shroud. 920 Shroud discovered in a vault above the West or Kappa gate of the city. This is described in "the Crypt was a "brick red tile" with the Shroud Image impressed upon it and, interesting enough, one of the ever burning lights. 920 The Keramion, tile, as it came to be known, was then given to Hierapolis, Edessa's sister city. 969 Shroud removed to Constantinople as depicted in the Rossianus Codex. 1203 The Fourth Crusade begins by dispatching the Rough frankish soldiers to Constantinople to restore the deposed Byzantine Emperor. Instead, the city is sacked. Christians destroying Christians. Pope Innocent III was appalled. The Shroud disappears and crusade goes to The Holy Land 1247 "Holy Towel" bearing a picture upon it sold by impoverished Emperor Baldwin II to St. Louis King of France 1300 Catholic Jubilee - pilgrims trampled viewing Shroud The Shroud was called the Mandylion when it was boxed. This box was made of golden "trelliswork" lined with silk not unlike the King's headdresses Aggai normally made for nobility, but inside out. The face then outlined in a square, a cut off head in a box, the head of a man with a beard like a skull, like a painting on a beam or a wall. These are how it could have appeared and how it was described by the Knights Templars testifying before the inquisition in 1308, the Baphomet of the Templars. An Icon 1453 Purported Shroud of Turin comes into the possession of Duke Louis Savoy and his wife, Anne de Lusignan who were the ancestors of King Umberto and direct decedents from St. Louis.
