1. Our second collection this weekend is for Operation Rice Bowl. The major part of this collection goes to Catholic Relief Services which you might be aware is one of the principal organizations aiding the refugees of Kosovo. We ask your generosity to help our brother and sisters who are that terrible situation. Next Sunday's two-bit collection will also be for that purpose.
2. Thank you for your generosity last Sunday in the collection to aid the needy in our own parish thru our St. Vincent de Paul Society. $760 were donated.
3. Next Sunday is "Bundle Sunday." Please bring your re-usable clothing and household itesm to the Church next Sunday. Please see the bulletin insert for further information.
4. The Confirmation rehearsal will be this Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. Archbishop Brunett will be here next Saturday at 6 p.m. for confirmation. There will be no 5 or 7 p.m. next Saturday. They will be combined in one bilingual Confirmation Mass. All are invited and encouraged to attend to pray for and support our young people.
5. You are also invited to the First Communion Mass will be this coming Saturday at 11 a.m. in the morning. The rehearsal will take place on Thursday evening at 7 p.m.
6. The Knights of Columbus will be holding a Boiler Replacement Fund Raising Dance on May 1. Please see the bulletin for more information.
7. The Funeral Mass for Filiberto Medina will take place at 10:30 a.m.
