Steve Waugh today announced his retirement from international cricket, effective from the fourth test against India at the SCG this summer. It will mean an end to one of the greatest cricketing careers in history. Steve can boast to be the most capped player of all time with 164 caps. He is also the second highest all-time leading run scorer with 10,660 runs at an average of 51.25. He will also retire as Australia's leading skipper, with an impressive 40 victories from 53 matches.
