OK, here's the deal: The Bruins lost Guerin in the offseason. They won't resign Dafoe. They've made no significant signings (no, Bryan Berard and Steve Shields are NOT significant signings). Kyle McLaren is being a baby. How can they expect to contend? I'll stand by them yet again for yet another season, but their chances to win the Cup have gotten slimmer this season. Last season, they finished in 1st place in the Eastern Conference. If they can pull that off again, it'll be a miracle. Nothing against the players, but I'm sick of watching teams that have no chance. Last season, an all to familiar sight was seen by all Bruins fans: a good Bruins team being knocked off in the playoffs by a mediocre Canadiens team that had a good goalie. Hopefully management will pull their collective head out of their ass and realize that they could make more money than they ever dreamed if they just spent a little and won the Cup.
