Pat's Home Page:

The Julie Andrews Page !

Julie Andrews: beautiful, talented, and a great actress. How I would love to meet her someday!

Julie!

Julie is one great actress with one OUTSTANDING voice! My favourite Julie movie is tough, though, since there are 3:

.

.

Mary Poppins (1964):

........

Mary Poppins. Practically perfect in every way! And, it holds up after 30 or so showings.

.

.

.

.

The Sound of Music (1965):

The Sound of Music. The perfect picture. What an angel she was in this flick! I have seen it at least 20 times!

.

Julie talks about making the film!

To the Julie's comments on the opening scene of "The Sound of Music!"

.

.

.

Victor / Victoria (1982):

Victor/ Victoria (the first two shots are from the movie; whereas, the third, fourth, and fifth shots are from the Broadway show - not the film. A woman pretending to be a man, pretending to be a woman. She was so wonderful in this (as was Robert Preston & Leslie Anne Warren). I love the songs and have watched it at least 25 times!

She has made some other musicals including:

The Singing Princess (1967)

Throughly Modern Mille(1967)

Star! (1968)

and, Darling Lili (1970).

Her other films: The Americanisation of Emily (1964)

Torn Curtain (1966)

Hawaii (1966)

The Tamarind Seed (1974)

10 (1979)

Little Miss Marker (1980)

S.O.B. (1981) "I'm going to show my boobies" was a famous line from this - - she did - - I was very upset.

The Man Who Loved Women(1983)

That's Life! (1986)

Duet for One (1986)

A Fine Romance (1992)

She also was in some other classics on Broadway, including The Boyfriend, My Fair Lady, Camelot, and, of course, most recently Victor / Victoria.

I am trying to find pictures from any of the flicks or shows so if you have them let me know.

My Fair Lady: Julie & Rex Harrison

Camelot: Julie & Richard Burton

Besides being the BIGGEST fan of Julie, I also LOVE Mary Tyler Moore!

Hit button

Pity the only movie they did together really stunk (Thoroughly Modern Millie). Although they are not together in this shot, they were both in this bomb.

To the Mary Page !

Well, I will try to make this site better in the months to come.

Please stay tuned!

Thanks,

P.
