Just got the Jerry Colonna cd. Pretty good transfers from what sounds like the original 78s. Is it a quasi-legal release? The laughs are legit enough...

July 28 This week host Geo. Stewart winds up the old victorla and play some udderly silly songs about cows. We watch of old Tv shows and learn the joys of ciphering from Professor Tom Lehrer. Plus we take cursory look at the career of one Harry Stewart, who you may recall better as Yogi Yorgesson.
Aug 4 Driving This week host Geo. Stewart seeks out hilarity on the highway from the likes of Jerry Lewis and Bob Newhart. Trout Fishing in America make us a proper cup of coffee, brewed in a proper copper coffee pot. And David Seville and his chipmunks party hardy till the cows come home – hope they all live in a barn.
Aug 11 Bananas This week on your last bastion for all musics odd, silly, or forgotten music, host Geo. Stewart hits the disco floor with Martin Mull, Mad Magazine, and Gefilte Joe and The Fish. Plus Philadelphia song-meister Steve Pullara introduces the new dance craze, "The Banana" with the help of Tony Randell and The Hoosier Hotshots.
Aug 18 The Chapeau Sheau This week it's hats off for our chapeau show thanks to milliners Danny Kaye, Porky Pig, and Elsa Lancaster. We putting pants on Phillip with the help of Allen Sherman, Jimmy Durante and John Zackerley. And finally it’s hats on to Beach Bouy Mike Love in a salute to the tonsorially challenged.

Aug 25 Brother Theodore This week Crazy College salutes great stand up comedians and monologists. We hear some classic routines for the likes of Shelly Berman, Nichols & May, Lord Buckley, Mel Brooks. And host Geo. Stewart talk with the ever-elusive Brother Theodore about his rather unusual career. See a great documentary on Theodore at the Newark (DE) Film Festival the weekend of september 4th
Sep 1 Work! A special Labor Day edition of Crazy College this week when host Geo. Stewart salutes all us working stiffs who keep the economic wheels of our great nation turning and grinding. We’ll hear from the likes of Allan Sherman and Lonnie Donegan. David Seville and his Chipmunks do the old nine-to-five two-step and Randy Newman partitions our government for some much need relief.
9/8 Spike Jones Jr This week Crazy College starts a series of programs dedicated to Spike Jones. Host Geo. Stewart will play a wide selection of hits, near misses and rare releases, documenting all phases of Spikes career. Plus he talks with Spike Jones Jr about what his old man was like around the house.
Sept 15 Feet This week Host Geo. Stewart salutes the pedal extremities, i.e. your “feet”, with such soul singers as Fats Waller, Nancy Sinatra and Patrick MacNee. Groucho Marks and Homer and Jethro get matching tattoos. And Christine Laven’s piercing screams rend the air when she goes in for some more extreme forms of body art.
Sept 22 Baseball This week Crazy College host Geo. Stewart salutes the great American pastime, Baseball. We hear from the likes of Sam & Dave, Danny Kaye and Gene Kelly. Nat King Cole will review the history of the game. And Homer and Jethro manage to field an entire team just from all their kith and kin.
Fire up the colortini, kick back and put on the head phones...and wait some more....

We note with sadness the passing of Tom Poston. Born on Oct 12, 1921, he made us laugh until the end on April, 2007. Tom was always a welcome sight on any sit-com. But I think his most memorable work was on the Steve Allen Show where was a "Man in the Street" who couldn't remember his own name. Here's a great cover of Tom from the Valentine's Day edition of Harvey Kurttzman's "Help!" Magazine......
