The season 98-99 has finally got under way! Corpus being in the 2nd division of 5, amongst St. Peter's, Wadham, Exeter, Queen's II and fellow promoters St. John's.

The first fixture was against John's, who edged us in the old division 2 title race last season by one point. After going down 3-6 after 9, the remaining pairs fought back with a vengeance to level the match 6-6.

The next two fixtures saw us succumbing away to Wadham 3-9 and St. Peter's 2-10. Hopefully the players have benefited from the experience in these matches of higher standards than Corpus ever encountered before.
