John's Amazing Car...

From the outside, my car looks like much like any other, only perhaps a little shabbier. This is a Talbot Horizon, but not any Talbot Horizon. This is the Sherz's Talbot Horizon, which naturally, includes a few minor electronic improvements!
One of the main cosmetic features is the red flashing "KnightRider" style lights on the front radiator grille, designed and built by me. As you look inside the interior of the car, you soon realise that the KnightRider thing is a bit of a recurring theme in this car...
A set of overhead switches in the roof lining control a home made immobiliser system, as well as some of the functions of the stereo system, which includes a CD player, tuner, tape deck, TV set and video player, as well as a scanner and CB rig. The system runs through two graphic equalisers (one for front, one for rear), and from there to the amps and speakers. The rear shelf consists of a Longmill amp & crossover, which then drives 2x 12in 400Watt bass cabs in the boot, plus the 8in units in the parcel shelf. It thumps!!
Other improvements include a speech synthesis module, extra flashing lights on the dashboard and built into the sun visors, RPM counter, voltmeter, racing pedals, front fogs, and a security system. Oh, and a colour-coded interior paint job. All in all, it's a far cry from the £200 motor I bought a couple of years ago!

Just a few of the internal modifications...
