Congratualations also to Sandra Locke of Salt Spring Island, BC Canada on her new filly, Wind River Nymph! "River" is a beautiful yearling filly, with a very bright future. She will definitely be an exciting mare in the years to come. Thank you to her devoted breeder, Mary Ann Hofford of Valley, WA!
NWSA Convention - January 25-27th
Our first time attending the NWSA Convention was very entertaining, with some exciting announcements on Friday night, and plenty of conversation and buzz. We enjoyed meeting up with old and new friends, and catching up on the latest.
Talk of a summer sale is very exciting news, which we hope to hear more of. What a great asset and outlet for our NW saddlebred industry! Hopefully this event will be well supported and something we can look forward to in the future as well.
 
We were unable to attend Saturday and Sunday's events due to 5 inches of snow! Instead lots of snowball fights and fancy trotting horses through snow covered pastures was the order of the day.
YAY! New Truck - February 2nd
The happy new owners of a 1999 Suburban GMC. Lots of room to pack up for the shows AND haul the trailer :). With the farm purchase drawing near it was definitely time to upgrade!

Nelson Green Clinic - February 22-23th
Graciously hosted by Singing Hills Stables and the NWSA Youth Group, this great clinic was such a wonderful opportunity, packed with great information and demonstrations. Nelson Green was generous with his time and knowledge, taking many opportunities to meet with everyone and answer any and all questions presented. We are really glad to have been a part of it!
Farm Purchase!! - February 29th / Leap Year Day
Papers are signed and we are super excited to be purchasing our new farm and getting everything settled just in time for breeding season. Down to the wire on that one! With all the great possibilities ahead it will be an interesting year.
