There is little known about Marlo's history. Only that she was born somewhere in California and that she is the only daughter among 5 other over protective brothers. Her mother's name is Elsa Chandler. Being the only daughter in the family she grew up with little self esteem and never felt that she was pretty. Until around the age of 18 her boyfriend, Kenny, asked her to star in a adult film. Afterwards she felt that she was pretty and didn't need sleezy movies to make her feel great about herself. She dumped Kenny and her adult film career.

Her first appearance in the Marvel Universe is in Incredible Hulk #347. She worked in Las Vegas and became Mr. Fixit's (The Gray Hulk) girlfriend. When Hulk began turning into Bruce during the day again, Marlo became suspicious and ended their relationship all together. When Hulk lost his job as a bouncer in Vegas Hulk left town. Marlo had followed him to clear things up with him and what their relationship was about. They went their own ways and Marlo met Rick Jones and they began to date. They both moved to seperate apartments in Reno and continued their relationship. Also Marlo learns that Mr Fixit was the Gray Hulk and Bruce Banner was married to Betty.

Marlo and Betty never were very close friends, especially since Betty felt Bruce had cheated on him with Marlo, when in fact it was the Gray Hulk who had been with Marlo. When Hulk's personalities were merged and Bruce went to stay at Pantheon Headquarters, Marlo invited Betty Banner to live with her. Where they became good friends.

Rick Jones and Marlo continued to see each other and their relationship went on pretty well. Except for one thing, a women claiming to be Rick Jones' mother showed up in town. Turns out she was a criminal and "collected" young orphans claiming to be their mother. She killed Marlo and sent Rick into a depresion. He swore he would try to save her and bring her back somehow.

Rick had gone to Dr. Strange, the the Fantastic Four, anyone who might have the technology to bring Marlo back. When he confronted Hulk's arch-foe the Leader, he revealed that he could save her. (Incredible Hulk # 400) He began reviving her but The Hulk in a blind fury inturrupted hte process before it could finish, and Marlo was alive but her conciousness was in a deep coma.

When Marlo came out of her coma-state, Rick and Marlo were married .Their marriage was happy. Rick and Marlo even had started their own tv show "Keeping up with the Jones." Sometime after the Heroes all vanished to the Heroes Reborn Universe the Incredible Hulk threw Rick Jones into a wall breaking his neck, paralyzing him from the waist down.

Rick slowly began feeling very sorry for himself. Not expressing his emotions and not talking with Marlo too much. And when Betty Banner died, it was the tip of the ice-burg. Marlo felt her life was just too confusing with the super-heroes and her relationship with Rick that she leaves him.

She went to Vegas for a few days after the seperation and is now back in California and beginning a movie career, with her first non-adult film called, "The Monster Tapes." A mockumentary about kids investigating an urban legend. (Captain Marvel Vol3 #1)
