AAP- A former One Nation candidate today alleged he was assaulted while being ejected from the party's annual general meeting in Sydney.
Queenslander Terry Sharples, who has taken legal action against the party, alleged he was assaulted before being marched out of The Rooty Hill RSL Club in the city's west today.
A spokesman from Mt Druitt Police told AAP no charges would be laid in relation to the incident.
Mr Sharples, who claims the One Nation party is not properly registered, was one of two people ejected from the meeting this morning.
The 45-year-old accountant from Burleigh Heads said he was in line with about 1,000 other members when he was singled out and queried about his membership status.
He said he gave executive member David Ettridge his original membership card which "became ripped because I was not prepared to let him physically have hold of it".
Mr Sharples said Mr Ettridge allegedly told him "that is just a piece of paper with your name on it".
Mr Sharples alleged in a police statement that a security guard employed by the club struck him from behind with "what felt like a karate chop of some sort".
Mr Sharples told the guard "if you hit me again I will call the police" and the guard allegedly replied - "you are a lousy bastard".
Mr Sharples said he then left the premises and suffered no injuries.
