Rush has been one of gun owners best friends regarding the Second Amendment, especially following the Littleton, Colorado school shooting and beyond. On December 6th, 2002, he discussed the stupid ruling made by the Ninth Circuit (Circus) Court of Appeals regarding the California Assault Weapon Ban and the 2nd Amendment. He continued this on February 3rd, 2003, when he compared how the liberals want to take our firearms but let Saddam Hussein keep his. Below is an excerpt of what he said on the issue.
..."But let one law-abiding American woman who's being threatened by some stalker get a gun, and these same Democrats waste no time trying to get that gun away from her. That's what gun control really is: disarming the law-abiding people of this country. They hate the idea of American civilians having guns, but a bad actor like Saddam armed to the teeth doesn't bother them. If that's not hypocritical, I don't know what is."
