Sun Wind Paragliding Aviation School
at Kamloops and Sun Peaks Resort
Sun Wind Paragliding Aviation School is the local aviation school, based
in Kamloops and at Sun Peaks ski resort, and provides complete paragliding
training and equipment. Training takes place all year long at a number
of sites around Kamloops and at Sun Peaks Resort. The instructor, Karl
Buchegger, is a fully qualified paragliding instructor (with both the instructor
and tandem ratings), and has been flying since the early days of paragliding
with over 10 years of experience. For people interested in paragliding,
a tandem flight provides an excellent introduction to paragliding, and
student pilots can be trained to fly on their own, all the way from the
initial student diploma to the advanced rating (see HPAC
