Where to get work done on your Viking. (updated 7/06)

A trustworthy maintenance shop is a must for any airplane owner. Finding a good shop for your airplane is a daunting task regardless of what kind of airplane you fly. Should you be lucky enough to own a Bellanca Viking, this task may be complicated

Vikingby the fact that the airframe is tube and fabric based. Working with wood and fabric airplanes is an art and many shops simply don't have the capability or experience to handle it properly. As such, I am attempting to compile a list of shops that are exclusively recommended by Viking owners. If you find that the shop that takes care of your maintenance is not listed, please feel free to either zap me an E-mail to wtoddp@worldnet.att.net or use the following form. If you decide to not use the form, mail me with the following info:


  • airport location (3 letter identifier is acceptable).
  • name of the shop
  • phone number for the shop
  • a point of contact (or the name of your favorite mechanic there)
  • the state where this shop is since this is organized geographically
