This page contains information on Web Rings and how to join our Science for All Web Ring.

What is a Web Ring:
A Web Ring is a way to link many related web sites together. On each web site belonging to a Web Ring you will find the following:
1.The title of the Ring (the name usually gives you a good idea what the Ring is about).
2. A Next and Previous button (or link) which takes you to the next site in the Web Ring or the previous site in the Web Ring.
3. Skip Next, Skip Previous which lets you skip a bad site.
4. Random and List which would obviously take you to a random site on the Web Ring or list them all for you. It looks something like this:

In this way anyone can navigate the particular Web Ring and see many related sites. The web sites on the Science for All Web Ring are all about Popular Science. If you can find just one web site on the Ring then you have instant access to all the others! It doesn't replace search engines, it just makes finding related information easier!
 
 

Who can Join the Ring:
All that is required is that you have a web page that conforms to the following GUIDELINES:

WE DO NOT ALLOW FRINGE SCIENCE SITES into our ring, sorry.
If your site has anything to do with: UFOs, healing crystals, religion, mysticism, or conspiracies then your site can NOT be included. It belongs somewhere else, sorry (go to www.webring.org and find a suitable ring)
 

Rules of the Ring:
1. The page you link below MUST be a page with quality science contents. Not just with science links!. DO NOT link your Homepage if it is separate from your Science page. It confuses users when they suddenly arrive at a page like "List of my Favorite Hobbies" when they were expecting a Science page!

2. When you submit your site you are given a small bit of HTML code to add to your Science page. The HTML code  MUST appear on the Science page that you give below! No exceptions. A user shouldn't have to search for your Web Ring ! The whole idea is to get people going from one site to the next. If the Web Ring information is not on the page you give below then the user has to search for it, or give up and go back to a previous site! In other words, they will meet a dead end -And they won't like it!

How to Join:
1. Fill out the application form below and click submit.
2. Cut-n-Paste the HTML code (used to link to the Ring) and put it on your Science page that you give below!

THATS IT!
Nothing more to do!
Your application will be queued and reviewed within a few days.
You will be notified about your incorporation to the Science for All Web Ring!

Your application will be instantly deleted if your page doesn't exist, it has no content, or you don't include the Links to the Ring you are about to receive.
