Thomas E. (Pete) Jordon

A man with too much time on his hands

Jerome Zerbe, Early Aviation Pioneer

Genius or Eccentric

Thomas (Pete) E. Jordon, an aviation historian, is seeking more information on Jerome Zerbe, an early aviation pioneer who, depending on one's outlook, was beyond the cutting edge of the technology of his time, or a hopeless eccentric who would never create an airworthy aircraft.

The information I have on Mr. Zerbe is very spotty and most of it is presented on this site. It is my hope that people visiting this site will be able to add to the treasure trove and we can add another piece to the puzzle.

I Need Your Help

If you have any Zerbe information at all, no matter how slight or seemingly off this subject, please feel free to share it with me. For a number of years I have collected my bits and pieces of Zerbe information as I've happened across them and I hope to someday be able to write an article, or maybe even a book, and answer the question if he was a genius or a hopeless eccentric. Please email me by clicking on my name.
