Boston area jazz trombonist and composer Christian Pincock has performed at the Louis Armstrong International Jazz Competition, the Sacramento Jazz Festival, the Chiliwack Jazz Festival in British Colombia with the Federal Focus Jazz Band, a traditional dixiland jazz; band from the Washington DC area. Other jazz ensembles Mr. Pincock has performed with include the North Texas Lab Bands, the New England Conservatory Jazz Orchestra under the direction of George Russell and Allan Chase, the Carl Atkins big band and the Black Tie Affair Orchestra.
As a jazz composer and arranger, Christian Pincock has produced numerous works for large jazz ensembles, small combo groups, brass quintet, trombone choir, and vocal choir. His works have been performed at the New England Conservatory by the Jazz Orchestra, the Big Band and small jazz combo groups. He has also written music for the Chris Leuard Orchestra, a 10-piece jazz ensemble, and brass quintets in the Boston area.

England Conservatory in Boston where he studied jazz and composition
with Bob Brookmeyer, , Bevan
Manson, Jerry Leake, John Mosca, Scott Hartman, and John McNeil. Mr. Pincock
has been coached in various ensembles by Jon Faddis, Slide Hampton, Maria
Schneider, Curtis Fuller, George Lewis and George Russell.
