ABOUT THE NAME:The term "Garland City Pride" was used during the Prohibition Era to refer to illegal whisky made in the area, but this Website has nothing to do with bootleg whisky. I use the term to reflect my feelings at having my roots in the town.

For those of you that don't know, Garland City, Arkansas is in Miller County, Arkansas. 22 miles east of Texarkana, Ark.-Tex. on the banks of the Red River where U.S. Hiway 82 crosses the Red.
