BDBFS is the DBU-like utility, well known for CLIPPER-programmers.
But there are a lot of advantages for using BDBFS.
BDBFS provides a powerful, easy-to-use interface for altering database 
files. It supports most known formats of databases and indexes:
   dBASE3/CLIPPER, FoxPro (including Visual FoxPro), dBASE4, SIX, 
   FlagShip, FlexMemo.

It can use NTX, IDX, CDX, MDX, NSX indexes. Over 100 functions are 
available through menus or hotkeys. Some operations are also accesible 
from command line. This utility lets you modify structures, pack the 
database, search the data, copy, clear and swap records, print report 
forms, export as HTML, XMl, XLS,  
and much more.
