Translation and Interpretation:
The Northup Coat of Arms consists of a silver
bulldog's head, a dog bred in England, between
two red roses, with green stems and leaves, emblematic
of England, on a gold background, color of generosity
and elevation of mind; on a green upper part of the
sheild, indicating hope and joy is a silver plow
between two gold wheat sheaves, symbolic of a farm,
in reference to the definition on the name. not availablet
