Jarod Burns goes to work for Harold Kinkade ... a man whose tendency to burn down his buildings has already killed 7 people.   However, before Jarod can "go to work," Harold Kinkade is burned alive in his own bedroom!   His wife, Kristi, escapes without injury and Jarod is drawn to her, like a moth to a flame.   Less than 24 hours after her husband's death, Jarod is kissing her at her cabin retreat (although he does feel badly about it)!   Sadly for Jarod, Kristi is too good to be true and after he discovers that she is trying to kill him the same way she did her husband, he ends up getting a confession out of the person who aided her in killing her husband and they both go to jail.
