It's hard to tell from this picture but the Lion's mane and the Lamb's body are made from the children's handprints. I drew the lion body and head and then I cut a large piece of white butcher paper (and drew a circle where the head should be) for the mane. The children dipped their hands in orange paint and made handprints around the circle. For the lamb I cut a large piece of white paper for the body and then the children traced their handprints on white construction paper and cut out. They used a pencil to curl their fingers before gluing them to the body. |
