This was the first known web ring for South Dakota sites and my first adventure as a Ringmistress. I decided to create this ring because there are many great sites done by people in South Dakota and I wanted a way to connect them all. This is a land of many people with a wide variety of interests, and I am sure the web sites in this ring will reflect this variety.The only Requirement to be in this ring is that YOU MUST be a South Dakotan, (as in you live in the state of South Dakota). This means your page should have links to you and your town showing how great it is. I need to see that you are from South Dakota.
RULE TWO: I insist the site be family safe, there are many little ones out there surfin as well and I want this to be a good place for them to stop in. That means I want to preserve their innocence, the world will shatter that dream soon enough, this web ring won't. That means NO swearing, NO HATRED, No Bigotry, NO Bad talking ANY race. We have all been here awhile, many of us third generation Dakotans, there IS NO ONE race, I for one come from about eight different heitages. WE are one RACE: HUMAN Let the web reflect a better view of society please. (South Dakota Sites reserves the right to refuse any site admittance to this ring).
I also must ask that the ring code be either placed on the main page that you submit, or if placed on a link or web ring link page that there be a clear notice listed on your site informing surfers as to where the ring code is. It is required to be fair to all the members of the ring, if someone is following the ring and comes to a site where they can not find the code easily, they will stop following the ring and go elsewhere. This hurts the members further down the line because they will not be visited.
IF your site does not meet requirements or Continuously has the wrong or broken code it Will NOT be activated.
