VISION: |
The first and foremost vision of this group is to pass on the Christian faith to our children so as not to affect just this generation but the generations to follow. The method by which we go about this mission is through teaching our children to be in relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, as King, Savior, and Holy Spirit. |
Deuteronomy 6:1-9 (NIV) States the vision most accurately. "These are the commands, decrees and laws the Lord your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, so that you, your children and their children after them may fear the Lord your Cod as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life. Hear, O Israel, and be careful to obey so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the Lord, the God of your fathers, promised you. Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your house and on your gates." |

This group began with the knowledge of some Homeschooling Moms in the area that needed some encouragement to stay on the homeschooling journey. There were a few local support groups in the area and activities for homeschoolers but both new and experienced homeschoolers needed a central location to find out what local resources and support was available. This group was started to help as a hub to these homeschooling resources mostly within the community but also within the state and nation (when appropriate). |

STATEMENT OF FAITH: |
The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and constitutes His completed and final revelation to man. The Bible, in its original autographs, is without error in whole and in part. II Timothy 3:16-17, 4:1-4 |
God had existed from all eternity in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ was God in human flesh being fully God and fully man, except without sin. John 1:1-18 |
All men are in violation of God's righteous requirements and His holy character both by nature and act, and are therefore under His wrath and just condemnation. Romans 6:23 |
The central purpose of the coming of Jesus Christ was to pay the penalty for man's sin through His substitutionary atoning death on the cross, the successful accomplishment of which was attested to by His subsequent visible, bodily resurrection. John 3:16 |
Salvation is offered as a gift, free to the sinner. This gift must be responded to by individual faith, not trusting in any personal works whatsoever, but in the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ alone. Ephesians 2:8-9, l Titus 3: 4-5 |
