The Great Commandment:

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and all with all your soul and with all your mind, and with all your strength...Love your neighbor as yourself."  Mark 12:29-31 (NIV)

The Great Commission:

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always,  to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20. (NIV)

"You are the light of the world.  A city set on a hill cannot be hidden."  Matthew 5:14

Why are we called "Friends"?

Jesus said:  "You are my friends, if you do what I command you.  No longer do I call you slaves; for the slave does not know what his master is doing;
but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from my Father, I have made known to you."  John 14:14-15
